Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk pelanggaran kesopanan berbahasa pada kolom komentar media sosial Instagram Presiden Prancis @emmanuelmacron. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini mengacu pada teori Bergson (2022) yang berupa tiga bentuk kesopanan, yaitu: (1) Kesopanan Etika (politesse des manières); (2) Kesopanan Pikiran (politesse de l'esprit); dan (3) Kesopanan Hati (politesse du coeur). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi untuk menganalisis sumber data. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC) dan dokumentasi. Analisis data untuk penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman (2013) yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan untuk menganalisis data berupa kata, frasa, kalimat, ujaran, dan konteks yang berhubungan dengan pelanggaran kesopanan berbahasa. Instrumen atau alat pada penelitian ini berupa tabel analisis bentuk-bentuk pelanggaran kesopanan berbahasa pada kolom komentar media sosial Instagram Presiden Prancis @emmanuelmacron. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada 30 (tiga puluh) komentar yang menunjukkan pelanggaran kesopanan berbahasa pada kolom komentar media sosial Instagram Presiden Prancis @emmanuelmacron. Pelanggaran kesopanan berbahasa didominasi oleh pelanggaran kesopanan hati dengan jumlah data sebesar 14 (empat belas) komentar, selanjutnya pelanggaran kesopanan pikiran memiliki data sebesar 11 (sebelas) komentar, kemudian pelanggaran kesopanan etika dengan temuan paling sedikit memiliki data sebanyak 6 (enam) komentar. ***** This study aims to find the forms of violations of language politeness in the comment section of the French President's Instagram account @emmanuelmacron. The theoretical framework of this research refers to Bergson’s theory (2022), which consists of three forms of politeness: (1) Politeness of ethical (politesse des manières); (2) Politeness of the mind (politesse de l'esprit); dan (3) Politeness of the heart (politesse du coeur). This study employs a qualitative approach with content analysis method to analyze the data sources. Data collection techniques include non-participant observation (SBLC) and documentation. Data analysis follows the model proposed by Miles and Huberman (2013), which consists of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, to analyze data in the form of words, phrases, sentences, utterances, and context related to language politeness violations. The research instrument used in this study is an analysis table of forms for violations of language politeness found in the comment section of the French President’s Instagram account @emmanuelmacron. The results of the study show that there are 30 (thirty) comments showing violations of language politeness in the comment section of the French President’s Instagram account @emmanuelmacron. Violations of politeness are dominated by violations of politeness of the heart, with a total of 14 (fourteen) comments. This is followed by violations of politeness of the mind, with 11 (eleven) comments, while violations of politeness of ethical are the least frequent, with 6 (six) comments.
