Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh media digital edukatif dan minat belajar terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan anak usia 5-6 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif metode eksperimen dengan desain treatment by level 2x2, rancangan posttest-only control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari anak-anak di dua lembaga TK di Kecamatan Palmerah, Kota Administrasi Jakarta Barat dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random sampling. Uji normalitas menggunakan uji Shapiro-Wilk dan uji homogenitas menggunakan uji Levene, pada teknik analisis data menggunakan ANAVA dua jalur dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Post Hoc Tukey. Instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini berupa tes kemampuan membaca permulaan yang telah melalui proses validasi oleh para ahli. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media digital edukatif memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca permulaan anak, dan terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara media digital edukatif dan minat belajar anak. Anak yang menggunkan media digital edukatif berbasis interaktif dan memiliki minat belajar tinggi memperoleh skor kemampuan membaca permulaan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok lainnya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca permulaan anak dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan jenis media digital edukatif dan tingkat minat belajar. ******** This study aims to determine the effect of educational digital media and learning interest on the early reading ability of children aged 5-6 years. This study used a quantitative experimental approach with a 2x2 treatment by level design, a posttest-only control group design. The study sample consisted of children in two kindergartens in Palmerah District, West Jakarta Administrative City, with a cluster random sampling technique. The normality test used the Shapiro-Wilk test and the homogeneity test used the Levene test, while the data analysis technique used a two-way ANOVA followed by the Tukey Post Hoc Test. The main instrument in this study was a test of early reading ability that had been validated by experts. The results showed that digital educational media had a significant effect on improving children's early reading ability, and there was an interaction effect between digital educational media and children's learning interest. Children who used interactive digital educational media and had a high learning interest obtained higher scores in their early reading ability than the other groups. These findings indicate that children's early reading ability is influenced by the choice of digital educational media and the level of learning interest.
