Abstract

IMPLEMENTASI SUPERVISI KLINIS KEPALA SEKOLAH DI SMP MATER DEI PAMULANG SURYANI Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta Jl. Rawamangun Muka, Jakarta Timur 13220 ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui implementasi supervisi klinis kepala sekolah, proses implementasi supervisi klinis, kendala dalam supervisi klinis, serta manfaat dari supervisi klinis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan hasil catatan lapangan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Miles and Huberman. Pemeriksaan keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber yaitu peneliti membandingkan data hasil wawancara dengan data hasil pengamatan, membandingkan apa yang dikatakan secara pribadi dengan apa yang dikatakan di depan umum, serta membandingkan dokumen yang ada dengan hasil wawancara. Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Mater Dei Pamulang, Tagerang Selatan, Banten mulai bulan Juni sampai Nopember 2019. Sebagai informan penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru-guru di SMP Mater Dei Pamulang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Supervisi klinis yang dilakukan di SMP Mater Dei dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru baik kompetensi kepribadian, pedagogik, profesional, maupun sosial (2) proses implementasi supervisi klinis melalui tahap perencanaan, observasi, dan umpan balik, (3) kendala yang ditemukan dalam implementasi supervisi klinis adalah keterbatasan waktu dan tenaga profesional, (4) manfaat dari supervisi klinis meningkatkan rasa percaya diri dalam mengajar, meningkatkan kreativitas guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran, dan terjalin hubungan yang harmonis antara kepala sekolah dengan guru. Kesimpulan kepala sekolah wajib melaksanakan implementasi supervisi klinis untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran. IMPLEMENTATION OF CLINICAL SUPERVISION OF THE PRINCIPAL OF SCHOOL SMP MATER DEI PAMULANG SURYANI Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Universitas Negeri Jakarta Jl. Rawamangun Muka, Jakarta Timur 13220 ABSTRACK The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of clinical supervision of principals, the process of implementation clinical supervision, obstacles in clinical supervision, and the benefits of clinical supervision. This study uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, documentation, and the results of field notes. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model. Checking the validity of the data is done by triangulation of sources, that is, researchers compare interview data with observational data, compare what is said privately with what is said in public, and compare existing documents with interview results. The research was conducted at the Mater Dei Pamulang Middle School, South Tagerang, Banten from June to November 2019. As the research informants were principals and teachers at the Mater Dei Pamulang Middle School. The results showed that: (1) Clinical supervision carried out at Mater Dei Middle School can improve teacher competencies in personal, pedagogical, professional, and social competencies (2) the process of implementing clinical supervision through the stages of planning, observation, and feedback, (3) the obstacles found in implementing clinical supervision are limited time and professional staff, (4) the benefits of clinical supervision increase confidence in teaching, increase teacher creativity in managing learning, and there is a harmonious relationship between the principal and the teacher. Conclusion Principal must implement clinical supervision to improve teacher competence imanaging learning. Keywords: Implementation, clinical supervision, teacher competence, harmonious relations.
