Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya manajemen pembelajaran ansambel gitar yang sistematis, sementara praktik di SMK seni masih banyak bertumpu pada pengalaman guru tanpa perangkat pembelajaran tertulis, sehingga perlu dikaji. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan manajemen pembelajaran ansambel gitar kelas XI di SMKN 2 Kasihan Bantul meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMKN 2 Kasihan Bantul pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran ansambel gitar di SMKN 2 Kasihan Bantul belum sepenuhnya dituangkan dalam bentuk perangkat pembelajaran tertulis, namun tetap disusun secara sistematis berdasarkan pengalaman guru, pemetaan kemampuan peserta didik, serta target pembelajaran berorientasi pertunjukan. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran dilakukan melalui kegiatan praktik berkelompok yang menekankan kerja sama, pembagian peran gitar, latihan teknik, pembacaan partitur, dan latihan prima vista. Guru berperan sebagai fasilitator dan pembimbing yang mengarahkan proses pembelajaran sesuai karakteristik peserta didik dan kebutuhan musikal ansambel. Evaluasi pembelajaran dilaksanakan melalui penilaian permainan repertoar dan uji prima vista. ****** This study is motivated by the importance of systematic management in guitar ensemble learning, while instructional practices in vocational art schools are still largely based on teachers’ experience without written instructional documents, making it necessary to be examined. Therefore, this study aims to describe the management of guitar ensemble learning for eleventh-grade students at SMKN 2 Kasihan Bantul, which includes planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using a case study design. The study was conducted at SMKN 2 Kasihan Bantul during the odd semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and literature study. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The results show that the planning of guitar ensemble learning at SMKN 2 Kasihan Bantul has not been fully formalized into written instructional documents; however, it is still systematically developed based on the teacher’s experience, students’ ability mapping, and performance-oriented learning objectives. The implementation of learning is conducted through group practice activities that emphasize collaboration, guitar role distribution, technical exercises, score reading, and sight-reading practice. The teacher acts as a facilitator and mentor who guides the learning process in accordance with students’ characteristics and the musical needs of the ensemble. Learning evaluation is carried out through repertoire performance assessment and sight-reading tests.
