Abstract
Pengembangan buku ajar merupakan materi atau bahan ajar yang sudah disusun secara sistematis dan lengkap berdasarkan prinsip yang sudah disesuaikan oleh pengajar dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Belum tersedianya buku ajar bahasa Mandarin yang sesuai dengan karakteristik jurusan Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran di SMKN 47 Jakarta, menjadikan pembelajaran bergantung pada handout dan media tambahan. Fokus penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan siswa SMKN 47 Jakarta terhadap materi ajar bahasa Mandarin, serta subfokus penelitian ini adalah Pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin di SMKN 47 Jakarta jurusan Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran, dan Materi ajar Bahasa Mandarin yang dibutuhkan siswa jurusan Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran di SMKN 47 Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif menggunakan teknik wawancara dengan guru Bahasa Mandarin di SMKN 47 Jakarta sebagai instrumen utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan buku ajar berbasis prinsip kesesuaian dan kegunaan menurut Liu sangat diperlukan, karena dapat menghadirkan materi yang kontekstual, sistematis, dan aplikatif, sehingga pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin di SMK menjadi lebih efektif, meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, serta mendukung kompetensi mereka dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Kata kunci: Analisis Kebutuhan, Materi Ajar, Bahasa Mandarin, SMK, Bisnis Daring dan Pemasaran ***** Textbook development entails the systematic and comprehensive organization of instructional materials based on principles that address the needs of both teachers and students in the learning process. Currently, the unavailability of Mandarin textbooks specifically designed for the Online Business and Marketing major at SMKN 47 Jakarta has resulted in learning activities that rely primarily on handouts and supplementary media. This study investigates the needs of SMKN 47 Jakarta students regarding Mandarin teaching materials. The specific areas of focus include: the current state of Mandarin language instruction within the Online Business and Marketing major at SMKN 47 Jakarta, and the specific Mandarin teaching materials required by students in this major. This research utilized a descriptive qualitative method, with interviews conducted with the Mandarin language teacher at SMKN 47 Jakarta serving as the primary instrument. The findings indicate that developing textbooks based on Liu's principles of relevance and usefulness is essential, as this approach ensures the provision of contextual, systematic, and practical materials. Consequently, this development is expected to enhance the effectiveness of Mandarin language learning in vocational education, increase student motivation, and support competency development for workplace readiness.
