Abstract
Minimnya pilihan transportasi umum yang terjangkau dan terintegerasi di Provinsi Banten, menjadi alasan tingginya volume penumpang di Jalur Rangkasbitung, yang juga merupakan jalur dengan lintasan terpanjang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh persepsi kesesakan dan durasi perjalanan terhadap stres komuter pada pekerja di jalur KRL Rangkasbitung. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non-probability jenis purposive sampling dengan responden sejumlah 103 orang pekerja yang menggunakan KRL untuk transportasi berangkat dan pulang kerja. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Multimodal Commuting Stress Scale (MCSS) dan Rail Passenger Crowding Scale yang telah diadaptasi sesuai konteks penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif signifikan persepsi kesesakan dan durasi perjalanan terhadap stres komuter secara simultan dan parsial. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut memberikan pengaruh sebesar 69.6%.***** Rangkasbitung KRL Line, the longest Commuter Line track, is also one of the most crowded lines due to the lack of more affordable and integrated transportation options in Banten Province. Thus, this research was conducted to examine the influence of crowding perception and travel duration on workers’ commuting stress on the Rangkasbitung KRL Line. This study used a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was non- probability sampling with purposive sampling method. 103 data from workers who use KRL for their daily commute were collected with the Multimodal Commuting Stress Scale (MCSS) and the Rail Passenger Crowding Scale that had been adapted according to this research context. The results of this study show that there are significant positive effects of crowding perception and travel duration on workers’ commuting stress on the Rangkasbitung KRL Line simultaneously and partially. Simultaneously, both independent variables contributed to comuting stress in 69.6%.
