Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self-awareness dengan kemampuan literasi emosi pada remaja SMA. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 340 siswa SMA berusia 15–18 tahun yang berasal dari wilayah Jabodetabek, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel accidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner Situational Self-Awareness Scale (SSAS) untuk mengukur self-awareness dan Emotional Literacy Skills Scale (ELSS) untuk mengukur literasi emosi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif dan signifikan antara self-awareness dan literasi emosi pada remaja SMA (r = 0,598; p < 0,05), yang berada pada kategori hubungan sedang. Selain itu, hasil uji One Way ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat self-awareness maupun literasi emosi berdasarkan kelompok usia responden. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat self-awareness, semakin baik kemampuan literasi emosi pada remaja SMA, terlepas dari perbedaan usia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar bagi pengembangan program pendidikan dan intervensi psikologis yang berfokus pada peningkatan kesadaran diri dan kemampuan pengelolaan emosi pada remaja. The approach used was quantitative with a correlational design. The study subjects were 340 high school students aged 15–18 years from the Greater Jakarta area, with an accidental sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using the Situational Self-Awareness Scale (SSAS) questionnaire to measure self-awareness and the Emotional Literacy Skills Scale (ELSS) to measure emotional literacy. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment correlation test with the help of the SPSS program. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between self-awareness and emotional literacy in high school adolescents (r = 0.598; p < 0.05), which is in the moderate relationship category. In addition, the results of the One Way ANOVA test showed that there were no significant differences in the level of self-awareness or emotional literacy based on the age group of respondents. This finding indicates that the higher the level of self-awareness, the better the emotional literacy skills in high school adolescents, regardless of age differences. This research is expected to be the basis for the development of educational programs and psychological interventions that focus on increasing self-awareness and emotional management skills in adolescents.
