Abstract
Tujuan penelitian yaitu mengembangkan model pembelajaran tematik bermuatan literasi sains untuk meningkatkan PHBS pada anak usia dini. Metode penelitian menggunakan Research & Development (R&D) dengan 10 tahapan Borg & Gall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Analisis kebutuhan memperlihatkan bahwa PHBS anak usia 5–6 tahun masih rendah karena belum adanya pembelajaran yang dirancang secara sistematis dan hanya dilakukan secara insidental saja; (2) Pengembangan model menghasilkan produk berupa buku model pembelajaran SEHATIKA (Kesehatan melalui Tematik Bermuatan Literasi Sains) dan empat buku cerita bergambar meliputi Aku Bisa Mencuci Tangan, Aku Suka Makanan Sehat, Aku Bisa Menggosok Gigi, dan Aku Bisa Membuang Sampah; (3) Kelayakan model yang dilakukan melalui validasi dari ahli materi, media, dan desain pembelajaran, serta hasil uji coba terbatas dan uji coba lapangan utama menunjukkan bahwa produk sangat layak digunakan pada pembelajaran anak usia dini; (4) Implementasi model menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran tematik bermuatan literasi sains terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan PHBS anak usia dini. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan bahwa nilai t-hitung sebesar 52,811 lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel sebesar 1,98. Nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran SEHATIKA secara signifikan mampu meningkatkan PHBS anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, model ini direkomendasikan untuk digunakan oleh satuan PAUD dan dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut dalam bentuk digital oleh peneliti berikutnya. ****** The learning of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) on early childhood is very important to be implemented as a starting point to prevent the diseases, improve health status, and establish long-term healthy life style pattern. The purpose of this research is to develop the thematic learning model integrated scientific literacy to improve clean and healthy living behavior on early childhood. Research and Development (R&D) with 10 stages of Borg & Gall is used as a research method. The research finding showed that : (1) The needs analysis reveals that clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) in children aged 5–6 years are still low, as learning activities have not been systematically designed and are implemented only on an incidental basis; (2) The model development produces some products such as SEHATIKA (Health through thematic integrated scientific literacy) learning model book and Four illustrated storybooks, namely I Can Wash My Hands, I Enjoy Healthy Food, I Can Brush My Teeth, and I Can Throw away Trash. (3) The feasibility of the model which is assessed through validation by experts in content, media, and instructional design, as well as through the result of limited trials and main field trials, indicates that the product is highly suitable for use in early childhood education. (4) The model implementation indicated that the science literacy–integrated thematic learning model is proven effective in improving clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) in early childhood. The effectiveness test results indicate that the calculated t-value = 52.811 is greater than t-value = 1.98. The significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05 shows that the use of the SEHATIKA learning model significantly improves clean and healthy living behaviors (PHBS) in early childhood. Therefore, this model is recommended for implementation in early childhood education (PAUD) institutions and can be further developed in digital form by future researchers.
