Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengembangkan alat latihan Agility Footwork berbasis visual yang bernama FOCASE pada atlet bulutangkis PB Sanjaya. Pengembangan alat ini didasarkan pada keterbatasan sarana latihan berbasis teknologi serta belum tersedianya latihan yang berbasis stimulus visual acak untuk melatih kelincahan gerak kaki atlet sesuai permainan bulutangkis. FOCASE dirancang menggunakan sensor ultrasonik, mikrokontroler, dan tampilan visual yang memberikan stimulus gerak secara acak sehingga menyerupai situasi pertandingan yang sesungguhnya. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahap Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Validasi produk dilakukan oleh ahli teknologi olahraga, ahli bulutangkis, ahli kepelatihan, ahli tes dan pengukuran olahraga, serta ahli elektronika. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada atlet bulutangkis untuk mengetahui kelayakan penggunaan alat yang dikembangkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa alat FOCASE memperoleh tingkat kelayakan sebesar 97,5% dan dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media latihan agility footwork. Hasil uji reliabilitas menunjukkan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,911 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Selain itu, hasil pengujian statistik menunjukkan bahwa alat mampu memberikan data pengukuran yang valid dan dapat digunakan sebagai sarana latihan berbasis teknologi. Dengan demikian, FOCASE dapat menjadi alternatif media latihan yang inovatif untuk mendukung peningkatan kemampuan agility footwork atlet bulutangkis. The development of this tool is driven by the limited availability of technology-based training resources and the lack of training programs that utilize random visual stimuli to develop athletes’ agility in footwork specific to badminton. FOCASE was designed using ultrasonic sensors, a microcontroller, and a visual display that provides random movement stimuli to simulate real match situations. Product validation was conducted by sports technology experts, badminton experts, coaching experts, sports testing and measurement experts, and electronics experts. Product testing was performed on badminton athletes to determine the feasibility of using the developed equipment. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model, which comprises the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation phases. Product validation was conducted by experts in sports technology, badminton, coaching, sports testing and measurement, and electronics. Product testing was conducted on badminton athletes to determine the feasibility of using the developed device. The research results indicate that the FOCASE device achieved a feasibility rating of 97,5% and was deemed suitable for use as a training tool for agility footwork. The reliability test results showed a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.911, classified as very high. Furthermore, statistical analysis results indicate that the device is capable of providing valid measurement data and can be utilized as a technology-based training tool. Consequently, FOCASE can serve as an innovative training medium to support the improvement of badminton athletes’ agility footwork skills.
