Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV E SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi yang disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru, kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa, serta penggunaan model dan media pembelajaran yang kurang variatif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Make A match berbantuan media puzzle akrilik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV E SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi yang berjumlah 32 siswa, terdiri dari 16 laki-laki dan 16 perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan mengacu pada model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi guru dan siswa, wawancara, tes hasil belajar, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar IPS siswa dari 40,63% pada siklus I menjadi 87,5% pada siklus II. Pengamatan aktivitas guru meningkat dari 70% menjadi 93%, sedangkan aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 69,17% menjadi 93,33%. Dengan demikian, penerapan model Cooperative Learning tipe Make A match berbantuan media puzzle akrilik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi. Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar IPS, Cooperative Learning, Make A match, Puzzle Akrilik, Siswa Sekolah Dasar ***** This study was motivated by the low Social Studies learning outcomes of Grade IV E students at SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi, which were caused by teacher-centered learning, limited student participation, and the lack of variation in learning models and media. Therefore, this study aimed to improve the Social Studies learning outcomes of fourth-grade students through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model of the Make A match type assisted by acrylic puzzle media. The subjects of this study were 32 students of Grade IV E at SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi, consisting of 16 male students and 16 female students. This study employed Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles based on the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which included the stages of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The research instruments used were teacher and student observation sheets, interviews, learning outcome tests, and documentation. The results showed an improvement in students’ Social Studies learning outcomes from 40.63% in Cycle I to 87.5% in Cycle II. Teacher activity increased from 70% to 93%, while student activity increased from 69.17% to 93.33%. Therefore, the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model of the Make A match type assisted by acrylic puzzle media was able to improve the Social Studies learning outcomes of Grade IV students at SDN Rawamangun 12 Pagi.
