Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui kebutuhan guru dan siswa terhadap model pembelajaran menulis deskriptif; (2) mendesain model pembelajaran menulis deskriptif; (3) mengembangkan model pembelajaran menulis deskriptif; (4) mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran menulis deskriptif dan (5) mengevaluasi model pembelajaran menulis deskriptif. R&D dengan desain ADDIE digunakan sebagai metode. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, kuesioner, tes, dan observasi, serta divalidasi melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu uji pakar, uji satu-satu, uji kelompok kecil, dan uji efektivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, guru dan siswa membutuhkan model pembelajaran menulis deskriptif bahasa Jerman level A1 yang sesuai perkembangan teknologi, lengkap secara instruksional, serta relevan dengan kebutuhan pembelajaran. Kedua, model dirancang dengan langkah-langkah pembelajaran meliputi memulai dengan pertanyaan pemantik, merencanakan proyek dan memodelan teks, membuat jadwal dan mengerjakan proyek secara berkelompok, memantau proses pengerjaan, melakukan penilaian hasil proyek dan melakukan refleksi pengalaman belajar. Ketiga, skor validasi ahli menunjukkan kategori sangat baik sebesar 86,36% (materi), kategori baik sebesar 82% (kebahasaan), dan diperoleh kategori baik sebesar 81,45% (desain pembelajaran). Keempat, uji coba satu per satu diperoleh 83,93% dan uji kelompok kecil sebesar 84,15%, yang menandakan bahwa model sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan kesukaan siswa. Kelima, uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan hasil belajar, yaitu dari rata-rata pretest 69,79 menjadi posttest 86,56. Sedangkan uji paired sample t-test diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning berbantuan google sites berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis deskriptif siswa. Sementara untuk skor N-gain diperoleh persentase sebesar 56,84%, di mana model dinilai cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran berbasis proyek berbantuan google sites dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks bahasa Jerman bagi pemula. ***** This study aims to: (1) identify the needs of teachers and students regarding a descriptive writing learning model; (2) design a descriptive writing learning model; (3) develop the descriptive writing learning model; (4) implement the descriptive writing learning model; and (5) evaluate the descriptive writing learning model. The research employed an R&D approach using the ADDIE design. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, tests, and observations, and validated through several stages, including expert review, one-on-one testing, small-group testing, and effectiveness testing. The findings show that: First, teachers and students need a German A1-level descriptive writing learning model that aligns with technological developments, is instructionally complete, and relevant to learning needs. Second, the model is designed with instructional steps including initiating learning with prompting questions, planning the project and modeling the text, creating schedules and working on the project in groups, monitoring the learning process, assessing project outcomes, and conducting learning reflection. Third, expert validation scores indicate a “very good” category with 86.36% (content), a “good” category with 82% (language), and a “good” category with 81.45% (instructional design). Fourth, the one-on-one trial yielded 83.93% and the small-group trial 84.15%, indicating that the model meets students’ needs and preferences. Fifth, the effectiveness test shows a significant improvement in learning outcomes, with the average score increasing from 69.79 in the pretest to 86.56 in the posttest. The paired sample t-test produced a sig. value (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the implementation of the project-based learning model supported by Google Sites affects students’ descriptive writing skills. Meanwhile, the N-gain score reached 56.84%, suggesting that the model is moderately effective in improving student learning outcomes. Thus, the project-based learning model using Google Sites can be used effectively for teaching descriptive writing in German to beginner learners.
