Abstract

Komunitas fanbase memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk makna, popularitas, dan legitimasi artis di ruang digital melalui aktivitas kolektif yang tidak hanya bersifat emosional tetapi juga sosial. Budaya partisipatif dalam komunitas menciptakan ruang kolaboratif bagi anggota untuk berinteraksi, berbagi, dan berkontribusi secara setara dalam mendukung artis. Penelitian ini membahas cara komunitas fans Rony Parulian (WeR1) membangun komunikasi dan solidaritas digital melalui platform Stationhead. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan bentuk komunikasi digital, menggali solidaritas digital yang terbentuk melalui aktivitas streaming di channel Wer1streams, serta mengungkap makna sosial dari partisipasi aktif fans dalam ruang digital interaktif. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan strategi netnografi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif di Stationhead, interaksi digital, serta wawancara dengan anggota dan admin komunitas. Analisis dilakukan melalui reduksi data, kategorisasi, dan interpretasi untuk memahami makna di balik praktik komunikasi komunitas. Penelitian ini berlandaskan konsep budaya partisipatif, solidaritas digital, dan teori budaya fans. Perspektif ini menekankan bahwa interaksi dalam komunitas online membentuk makna kolektif, identitas kelompok, serta keterikatan emosional antar anggota. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa solidaritas digital komunitas WeR1 terbentuk melalui afiliasi anggota, partisipasi aktif, dan keterikatan emosional. Aktivitas diperkuat melalui pembuatan dan penyebaran konten digital, serta kerja sama antara admin dan anggota melalui program dan koordinasi komunitas. Penyebaran konten dan penggunaan tagar turut memperluas jangkauan komunitas dan memperkuat dukungan kolektif terhadap artis. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu komunitas WeR1 membangun solidaritas digital melalui budaya partisipatif yang dinamis dan kolaboratif. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mengeksplorasi peran lintas platform dalam memperkuat solidaritas digital serta dampaknya terhadap industri musik. The participatory culture within these communities creates a collaborative space for members to interact, share, and contribute equally in supporting the artist. This study examines how Rony Parulian’s fan community (WeR1) builds digital communication and solidarity through the Stationhead platform. The objectives of this study are to describe forms of digital communication, explore the digital solidarity formed through streaming activities on the Wer1streams channel, and uncover the social significance of fans’ active participation in interactive digital spaces. This study employs an interpretive paradigm with a descriptive qualitative approach and a netnographic strategy. Data were collected through participatory observation on Stationhead, digital interactions, and interviews with community members and administrators. Analysis was conducted through data reduction, categorization, and interpretation to understand the meanings behind the community’s communication practices. This study is grounded in the concepts of participatory culture, digital solidarity, and fan culture theory. This perspective emphasizes that interactions within online communities shape collective meanings, group identity, and emotional bonds among members. The research findings indicate that the WeR1 community’s digital solidarity is formed through member affiliation, active participation, and emotional engagement. These activities are reinforced through the creation and dissemination of digital content, as well as collaboration between administrators and members via community programs and coordination. The dissemination of content and the use of hashtags further expand the community’s reach and strengthen collective support for artists. In conclusion, the WeR1 community builds digital solidarity through a dynamic and collaborative participatory culture. Further research is recommended to explore the role of cross-platform engagement in strengthening digital solidarity and its impact on the music industry.
