Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SD di Kelurahan Jatinegara Kaum. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV di SDN Jatinegara Kaum 03 sebanyak 64 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan instrumen tes hasil belajar. Validasi instrumen yang digunakan adalah Pearson Product Moment yang menunjukkan instrumen tersebut valid. Uji reliabilitas menggunakan Alpha Cronbach yang menunjukkan nilai r = 0,767 yang berarti reliabel dan termasuk kategori tinggi. Uji normalitas data menggunakan uji liliefors menunjukkan bahwa data tersebut berdistribusi normal. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji homogenitas yang menunjukkan bahwa kedua kelas bersifat homogen. Hasil perhitungan skor instrumen kedua kelas dihitung dengan uji N – Gain score dengan nilai rata – rata untuk kelas eksperimen sebesar 0, 7598 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, sedangkan nilai N – Gain score untuk kelas kontrol sebesar 0,6548 yang termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji independent sample t-test, nilai signifikansi sig (2-tailed) adalah sebesar (0,001 < 0,05) sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran jigsaw berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas IV SDN Jatinegara Kaum 03. ***** This experimental study aims to determine the effect of the jigsaw learning model on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students in the Jatinegara Kaum neighborhood. The sample in this study consisted of 64 fourth-grade students at SDN Jatinegara Kaum 03. Sampling was conducted using the cluster random sampling technique. The research design employed was a pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection was conducted using a learning achievement test instrument. The instrument was validated using the Pearson Product Moment correlation, which indicated that the instrument was valid. Reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha, yielding a value of r = 0.767, indicating high reliability. A normality test using the Liliefors test showed that the data followed a normal distribution. Subsequently, a homogeneity test was conducted, showing that both classes were homogeneous. The instrument scores for both classes were calculated using the N-Gain score test, with an average N-Gain score of 0.7598 for the experimental class, which falls into the high category, while the N-Gain score for the control class was 0.6548, which falls into the moderate category. Hypothesis testing was performed using an independent t-test; the significance value (sig, two-tailed) was 0.001 < 0.05, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the jigsaw learning model has a significant effect on the science learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Jatinegara Kaum 03.
