Abstract
terkandung dalam novel Anak Rantau karangan Ahmad Fuadi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yaitu dengan penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan data yang telah ada, yaitu novel. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Teori nilai edukatif menurut Tillman memiliki duabelas aspek nilai edukatif, yaitu nilai kedamaian, nilai penghargaan, nilai cinta dan kasih sayang, nilai toleransi, nilai kejujuran, nilai kerendahan hati, nilai kerja sama atau tolong-menolong, nilai kebahagiaan, nilai kesederhanaan, nilai persatuan, nilai tanggung jawab, dan nilai kebebasan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa novel Anak Rantau karangan Ahmad Fuadi mengandung berbagai aspek nilai edukatif. Nilai persatuan adalah aspek nilai edukatif yang paling dominan dengan jumlah yang paling banyak ditemukan pada novel Anak Rantau, sementara nilai toleransi adalah aspek yang paling sedikit ditemukan. Implementasinya di sekolah ialah guru dapat menjadikan novel Anak Rantau sebagai sarana pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia pada tingkat SMA kelas XI dengan kompetensi dasar 3.8 ranah kognitif dan 4.8 ranah psikomotor. **** This study aims to determine the results of the analysis of Educative values contained in the Anak Rantau novel by Ahmad Fuadi. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method, namely with research aimed at describing existing data, namely novels. The analysis was carried out based on the sociology of literature approach. Educative value theory according to Tillman has twelve aspects of educational value, namely the value of peace, the value of appreciation, the value of love and affection, the value of tolerance, the value of honesty, the value of humility, the value of cooperation or help, the value of happiness, the value of simplicity, the value of unity , the value of responsibility, and the value of freedom. The results of this study indicate that the Anak Rantau novel written by Ahmad Fuadi contains various aspects of educational value. The value of unity is the most dominant aspect of educational value with the most number found in Anak Rantau novels, while the value of tolerance is the least found aspect. Its implementation in schools is that teachers can make the Anak Rantau novel as a means of learning Indonesian Language and Literature at the eleventh grade high school level with basic competencies 3.8 cognitive domains and 4.8 psychomotor domains.
