Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi fasilitas wall climbing dan peralatan keselamatan berdasarkan persepsi pengguna, serta tingkat pengetahuan pengguna mengenai aspek keselamatan (safety) pada fasilitas wall climbing di Alun-Alun Kota Depok. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik accidental sampling terhadap 54 pengguna fasilitas wall climbing. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif berupa skor, frekuensi, dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi fasilitas wall climbing dan peralatan keselamatan secara umum berada dalam kondisi baik dan layak digunakan. Tingkat pengetahuan pengguna mengenai sistem pengaman, peralatan, potensi bahaya, dan upaya pencegahan bahaya berada pada kategori baik hingga sangat baik. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat pengetahuan keselamatan pengguna berada pada kategori sangat baik, yaitu sebesar 57,41% (31 responden), kategori baik 16,67% (9 responden), kategori kurang baik 24,07% (13 responden), dan kategori tidak baik 1,85% (1 responden). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi fasilitas dan peralatan yang baik serta tingkat pengetahuan pengguna yang tinggi mendukung terciptanya keselamatan pada kegiatan wall climbing di Alun-Alun Kota Depok. Pengelola tetap perlu melakukan pemeliharaan fasilitas dan meningkatkan edukasi keselamatan kepada pengguna secara berkelanjutan. ***** This study aims to analyze the condition of wall climbing facilities and safety equipment based on user perceptions, as well as the level of user knowledge regarding safety aspects at wall climbing facilities in Depok City Square. The study used a quantitative descriptive method with an accidental sampling technique on 54 wall climbing facility users. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of scores, frequencies, and percentages. The results showed that the condition of the wall climbing facilities and safety equipment were generally in good condition and suitable for use. The level of user knowledge regarding safety systems, equipment, potential hazards, and hazard prevention efforts was in the good to very good category. Overall, the level of user safety knowledge was in the very good category, namely 57.41% (31 respondents), the good category 16.67% (9 respondents), the poor category 24.07% (13 respondents), and the poor category 1.85% (1 respondent). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the good condition of the facilities and equipment and the high level of user knowledge support the creation of safety in wall climbing activities at Depok City Square. Management still needs to maintain facilities and improve safety education to users on an ongoing basis.
