Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media video tutorial YouTube terhadap transfer pengetahuan teoritis ke keterampilan praktik siswa kelas X TKJ di SMKN 1 Jakarta pada materi instalasi kabel jaringan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Quasi Eksperimen dan rancangan Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, terdiri dari kelas X TKJ 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen (35 siswa) dan kelas X TKJ 2 sebagai kelas kontrol (33 siswa). Data dianalisis menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dan Mann-Whitney U Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa video tutorial efektif meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif siswa secara signifikan dalam kelompok. Namun, hasil uji Mann-Whitney U Test menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif yang signifikan antar kedua kelas dengan nilai signifikansi 0,498 (Asymp. Sig. > 0,05). Begitu pula pada aspek keterampilan praktik, uji Mann-Whitney U Test menunjukkan tidak adanya perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan dengan nilai sebesar 0,457 (Asymp. Sig. > 0,05), dengan rata-rata nilai praktik eksperimen 83,34 dan kontrol 81,06. Disimpulkan bahwa video tutorial efektif meningkatkan kesiapan kognitif-prosedural, tetapi belum mampu memberikan dampak psikomotorik yang lebih unggul dibanding metode konvensional tanpa adanya latihan fisik langsung (hands-on experience). The research method employed was quantitative with a quasi-experimental approach and a Pretest-Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique, consisting of class X TKJ 1 as the experimental class (35 students) and class X TKJ 2 as the control class (33 students). Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that video tutorials significantly improved students' kognitif abilities within the group. However, the Mann-Whitney U Test results showed no statistically significant difference in kognitif learning outcomes between the two classes, with a significance value of 0.498 (Asymp. Sig. > 0.05). Similarly, in the practical skills aspect, the Mann-Whitney U Test showed no significant difference between the two classes with a value of 0.457 (Asymp. Sig. > 0.05), where the average practical score for the experimental class was 83.34 and the control class was 81.06. It is concluded that video tutorials are effective in enhancing cognitive-procedural readiness, but have not been able to deliver a superior psychomotor impact compared to conventional methods without direct hands-on experience.
