Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan apakah terdapat hubungan antara terpaan konten satire politik di media sosial dengan sikap politik siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 112 Jakarta dengan populasi penelitian terdiri dari siswa kelas X. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 72 responden yang diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling menggunakan rumus Slovin. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data. Hasil analisis data yang dilakukan dengan uji korelasi pearson product moment menunjukan adanya hubungan antara terpaan konten satire politik di media sosial dengan sikap politik siswa karena nilai Sign. < 0,01 yang < 0,05. Pada hasil uji regresi linear sederhana diperoleh nilai sebesar < 0,05 yakni <0,001 dan nilai t hitung sebesar 5,440 > t tabel 1,669 yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang linear antara terpaan konten satire politik di media sosial dengan sikap politik siswa. Diperoleh juga nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 0,297 artinya terpaan konten satire politik di media sosial memberikan kontribusi pada sikap politik siswa di SMA Negeri 112 Jakarta sebesar 29,7%. Nilai Pearson Correlation yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 0,545 atau 54,5% yang berarti kedua variabel memiliki arah hubungan positif yang menunjukkan hubungan antar variabel dalam taraf sedang. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi terpaan konten satire politik di media sosial maka semakin tinggi juga sikap politik siswa. ***** This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between exposure to political satire content on social media and students’ political attitudes. This study employs a quantitative approach using a survey method. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 112 Jakarta, with the study population consisting of 10th-grade students. The sample comprised 72 respondents selected using simple random sampling based on the Slovin formula. A questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. The results of the data analysis, conducted using the Pearson product-moment correlation test, indicate a relationship between exposure to political satire content on social media and students’ political attitudes, as evidenced by a significance value (Sign.) of < 0.01, which is < 0.05. The results of the simple linear regression test yielded a p-value of < 0.05, specifically < 0.001, and a calculated t-value of 5.440, which is greater than the critical t-value of 1.669. This indicates that there is a linear relationship between exposure to political satire content on social media and students’ political attitudes. A coefficient of determination of 0.297 was also obtained, meaning that exposure to political satire content. The Pearson correlation coefficient obtained was 0.545, or 54.5%, which means that the two variables have a positive relationship, indicating a moderate correlation between them. It can therefore be concluded that the greater the exposure to political satire on social media, the stronger the students’ political attitudes.
