Abstract

Kemampuan power dan daya tahan merupakan komponen penting dalam performa striking atlet bela diri. Namun, ketersediaan alat ukur yang mampu mengukur kedua variabel tersebut secara spesifik dan objektif masih terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan POWERNERPUSH sebagai instrumen pengukuran power dan daya tahan teknik striking serta menguji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan dari prototipe POWERNERPUSH yang dikembangkan pada tahun 2024 dengan metode Research and Development (R&D) model Borg dan Gall hingga tahap uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Responden penelitian berjumlah 23 atlet Taekwondo dan Pencak Silat. Instrumen memiliki berat ±3 kg, frekuensi pengambilan data 80 Hz, dan kapasitas pengukuran ±150 kg (1455 N). Validitas isi dinilai oleh ahli bela diri dan ahli tes dan pengukuran olahraga menggunakan koefisien Aiken's V. Reliabilitas dianalisis menggunakan Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC), Standard Error of Measurement (SEM), dan Minimal Detectable Change (MDC). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai Aiken's V sebesar 0,77 (valid) dari ahli bela diri dan 0,89 (sangat valid) dari ahli tes dan pengukuran olahraga. Variabel indeks power dan gaya puncak memiliki reliabilitas sangat tinggi pada pengujian intra-rater (ICC = 0,982) dan inter-rater (ICC = 0,957 dan 0,950). Sebaliknya, variabel waktu kontak menunjukkan reliabilitas rendah pada pengujian inter-rater (ICC = -0,294). Fitur tes daya tahan 30 detik juga menunjukkan kinerja yang sangat baik dalam mengukur daya tahan teknik striking yang didominasi sistem energi anaerobik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, POWERNERPUSH memiliki validitas yang baik serta reliabilitas yang sangat tinggi untuk mengukur indeks power, gaya puncak, dan daya tahan teknik striking atlet bela diri. Namun, pengukuran waktu kontak masih memerlukan penyempurnaan pada sistem sensor dan frekuensi sampling agar akurasinya meningkat. ***** Power and endurance are critical components of a combat sports athlete's striking performance. However, objective and sport-specific measurement tools that can assess both variables simultaneously remain limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop POWERNERPUSH as a test instrument for measuring striking power and endurance, as well as to evaluate its validity and reliability. This research builds upon the 2024 POWERNERPUSH prototype, utilizing the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) model up to the validity and reliability testing stage. The participants consisted of 23 Taekwondo and Pencak Silat athletes. The instrument weighs approximately 3 kg, operates at a data sampling frequency of 80 Hz, and has a measurement capacity of up to ±150 kg (1455 N). Content validity was evaluated by combat sports experts and sports measurement and evaluation experts using Aiken's V coefficient. Reliability was analyzed using the Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC), Standard Error of Measurement (SEM), and Minimal Detectable Change (MDC). The results showed an Aiken's V value of 0.77 (valid) from the combat sports experts and 0.89 (highly valid) from the sports measurement and evaluation experts. The power index and peak force variables demonstrated excellent reliability in both intra-rater testing (ICC = 0.982) and inter-rater testing (ICC = 0.957 and 0.950). Conversely, the contact time variable exhibited low reliability in inter-rater testing (ICC = -0.294). The 30-second endurance test feature also performed exceptionally well in measuring striking technique endurance, which is dominated by the anaerobic energy system. In conclusion, POWERNERPUSH possesses good validity and excellent reliability for measuring the power index, peak force, and striking technique endurance of combat sports athletes. However, contact time measurements still require further refinement regarding the sensor system and sampling frequency to improve overall accuracy.
