Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan berupa rendahnya hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas III yang disebabkan oleh berbagai factor, salah satunya kurangnya penerapan model dan media pembelajaran yang bervariasi sehingga keterlibatan siswa cenderung rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Project Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi Canva terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas III SDN di Kelurahan Tebet Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif eksperimen dengan design non equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas III SDN di Kelurahan Tebet Timur, Jakarta Selatan Tahun Pelajaran 2026/2027. Teknik sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling, sehingga diperoleh siswa kelas III SDN Tebet Timur 15 Pagi, SDN Tebet Timur 01 Pagi, SDN Tebet Timur 17 Pagi, Jakarta Selatan berjumlah 163 siswa sebagai sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Data dianalisis dengan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Kemudian diuji menggunakan uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian memperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 4,83 dari t tabel sebesar 0,000 pada taraf signifikansi a = 0,05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penerapan model Project Based Learning berbantuan aplikasi Canva terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III SD di Kelurahan Tebet Timur, Jakarta Selatan Tahun Pelajaran 2026/2027 pada muatan Pelajaran IPS. ***** This study was motivated by the problem of low social studies learning outcomes among third-grade students, caused by various factors, one of which is the lack of diverse teaching models and media, resulting in low student engagement. This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning model, supported by the Canva application, on the social studies learning outcomes of third-grade students at public elementary schools in the Tebet Timur neighborhood. This study employs a quantitative experimental method using a non-equivalent control group design. The population for this study consists of all third-grade students at public elementary schools in the Tebet Timur neighborhood, South Jakarta, for the 2026/2027 school year. The sampling technique used in this study was cluster random sampling, resulting in a sample of 163 third-grade students from SDN Tebet Timur 15 Morning, SDN Tebet Timur 01 Morning, and SDN Tebet Timur 17 Morning in South Jakarta. Data were collected through observation and achievement tests. The data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests. Subsequently, they were tested using prerequisite tests and hypothesis tests. The results of the study yielded a t-value of 4.843 compared to a critical t-value of 0.000 at a significance level of α = 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning model aided by the Canva application on the learning outcomes of third-grade elementary school students in Tebet Timur, South Jakarta, during the 2026/2027 academic year in the Social Studies curriculum.
