Abstract

Filjah Hasyati, Pengaruh Partisipasi Dalam Kegiatan Keagamaan Terhadap Resiliensi Akademik Mahasiswa BSO MAI FISH UNJ, Skripsi Jakarta : Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Islam, Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Hukum, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Juni 2026. ***** Filjah Hasyati, The Influence of Participation in Religious Activities on the Academic Resilience of BSO MAI FISH UNJ Students. Jakarta Thesis : Islamic Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, June 2026. Academic resilience is the ability of students to persist and adapt in facing various academic challenges. This ability is important because students are vulnerable to academic stress and various pressures throughout their academic journey. One factor that is presumed to contribute to the development of academic resilience is participation in religious activities, which enables students to gain spiritual reinforcement, internalization of values, and social support. This study aims to determine the influence of participation in religious activities on the academic resilience of students who are members of BSO MAI FISH UNJ and to describe the extent of its contribution. This study employed a quantitative method with a causal associative research design. The population consisted of 70 students who were members of BSO MAI FISH UNJ in 2025. The sampling technique used was saturated sampling (total sampling), in which all members of the population were included as research participants. Data were collected through questionnaires to measure the level of participation in religious activities and academic resilience. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression and an independent samples t-test with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results showed that participation in religious activities had a positive and significant effect on students’ academic resilience, with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The regression equation obtained was Y = 29.520 + 0.432X. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.290 indicated that participation in religious activities contributed 29.0% to the variance in students’ academic resilience. The results of the difference test also showed that the Executive Board (Badan Pengurus Harian/BPH) group had higher levels of participation in religious activities and academic resilience than the member group. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that participation in religious activities has a positive and significant effect on students’ academic resilience. However, with a contribution of 29.0%, participation in religious activities has not yet become a dominant factor in explaining the variation in students’ academic resilience.
