Abstract
******* The rapid advancement of technology, particularly in the fields of information and communication, has enabled people to access information from around the world with ease, including information about the Palestine–Israel conflict. This conflict has attracted global public attention, leading to the emergence of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement as a form of support for the Palestinian people who have been oppressed by Israel. This study aims to analyze the influence of social media and digital solidarity on boycott behavior toward products affiliated with Israel. This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 96 followers of the Instagram account @gerakanbds, selected using a non-probability sampling technique, specifically purposive sampling. Data were collected through both primary and secondary sources. Primary data were obtained through questionnaire distribution, while secondary data were gathered from online articles, academic journals, websites, and other relevant literature. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques to describe the characteristics of the data, as well as inferential statistical analysis to test the research hypotheses. The results of the multiple regression analysis indicate that social media and digital solidarity have a positive influence on boycott behavior. High exposure to social media, along with shared values and perspectives regarding the Palestinian issue, encourages individuals to engage in concrete actions such as boycotting certain companies. These two variables collectively explain 76.5% of the variance in boycott behavior, while the remaining 23.5% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
