Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi digital dan tingginya intensitas penggunaan media sosial di kalangan remaja menuntut pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) mampu membentuk pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai etika bermedia sosial. Namun, pembelajaran PAI kerap berorientasi pada hafalan sehingga pemahaman siswa bersifat sementara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penerapan pendekatan pembelajaran deep learning terhadap hasil belajar kognitif PAI siswa kelas XI pada materi Adab Menggunakan Media Sosial di SMKN 22 Jakarta. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain quasi-experimental tipe nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 67 siswa, terdiri atas 33 siswa kelas eksperimen (XI BR) dan 34 siswa kelas kontrol (XI MP 1) yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes kognitif (pretest-posttest) dan angket, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji non-parametrik (Wilcoxon dan Mann-Whitney), uji regresi sederhana, serta uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan Deep Learning berpengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa (Sig. = 0,000 < 0,05). Analisis regresi menghasilkan nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,470, yang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan deep learning memberikan kontribusi sebesar 47,0% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif. Selain itu, rata-rata skor N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen (0,3915; kategori sedang) terbukti signifikan lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol (0,0305; kategori rendah). Peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa secara spesifik terjadi pada ranah Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) tingkat C4 (Menganalisis), C5 (Meevaluasi), dan C6 (Mencipta), yang berpadanan dengan level Relational hingga Extended Abstract pada Taksonomi SOLO. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pendekatan deep learning efektif meningkatkan pemahaman kognitif tingkat tinggi siswa melalui pengalaman belajar yang berkesadaran, bermakna, dan menggembirakan. ***** The development of digital technology and the high intensity of social media usage among adolescents require Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to foster a deep understanding of social media ethics. However, PAI learning often focuses on rote memorization, resulting in temporary student understanding. This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the Deep Learning approach on the cognitive learning outcomes of 11th-grade PAI students regarding the topic of Etiquette in Using Social Media at SMKN 22 Jakarta. This quantitative research employed a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The study sample consisted of 67 students, comprising 33 students in the experimental class (XI BR) and 34 students in the control class (XI MP 1), selected through a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using cognitive tests (pretest-posttest) and questionnaires, and then analyzed using non-parametric tests (Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney), simple regression analysis, and N-Gain tests. The results demonstrated that the Deep Learning approach had a significant effect on students' cognitive learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.000 < 0.05). The regression analysis yielded a coefficient of determination (R^{2}) of 0.470, indicating that the implementation of Deep Learning contributed 47.0% to the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes. Furthermore, the average N-Gain score in the experimental class (0.3915; moderate category) was significantly higher than that of the control class (0.0305; low category). Specifically, the improvement in students' cognitive abilities occurred in Higher-Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) at the levels of C4 (Analyzing), C5 (Evaluating), and C6 (Creating), which correspond to the Relational and Extended Abstract levels of the SOLO Taxonomy. These findings indicate that the Deep Learning approach is effective in enhancing students' higher-level cognitive understanding through mindful, meaningful, and joyful learning experiences.
