Abstract
Kata Kunci: Daily Hassles, Burnout, Karyawan, Jabodetabek ***** This study aimed to examine the influence of daily hassles on burnout among employees in the Jabodetabek area. As Indonesia's largest economic center, Jabodetabek exposes its workforce to various daily stressors stemming from work pressure, traffic congestion, and financial instability. A quantitative approach was employed using simple linear regression with a cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 282 employees in the Jabodetabek area, selected through purposive sampling. Daily hassles were measured using the LIVES Daily Hassles Scale (LIVES-DHS), comprising 18 items across five dimensions: financial, physical, relational, environmental, and professional. Burnout was measured using the Maslach-Trisni Burnout Inventory (M-TBI), covering three dimensions: emotional exhaustion, personal accomplishment, and depersonalization. The results showed that daily hassles had a positive and significant influence on burnout (β = .878; t = 30.760; p < .001). The coefficient of determination (R²) of .772 indicated that daily hassles accounted for 77.2% of the variance in burnout, while the remaining 22.8% was attributed to other variables outside this study.
