Abstract

Emerging adulthood merupakan tahapan penuh eksplorasi, salah satunya adalah hubungan interpersonal romantis. Seiring dengan perkembangan pola interaksi interpersonal, muncul lah berbagai istilah modern dating. Salah satu yang paling sering dibicarakan adalah hubungan tanpa status (HTS). Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh attachment orientation pada relational uncertainty pada emerging adulthood di Jakarta yang sedang menjalani hubungan tanpa status (HTS). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif yang diolah menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Relational Uncertainty Scale (RUS) (Solomon & Brisini, 2017) untuk mengukur relational uncertainty dan Experiences in Close Relationship Scale Short-form (ECR-S) (Wei, et al., 2007) untuk mengukur attachment orientation. Pengumpulan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini melibatkan 230 orang responden yang merupakan emerging adult Jakarta yang sedang menjalani Hubungan tanpa Status (HTS). Temuan menunjukkan bahwa attachment avoidance tidak terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap self uncertainty maupun terhadap relationship uncertainty, namun terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikan dan negatif terhadap partner uncertainty. Sementara itu, attachment anxiety tidak terbukti berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap self uncertainty, namun berpengaruh secara signifikan positif terhadap partner uncertainty dan relationship uncertainty. ***** Emerging adulthood is a stage marked by exploration, one aspect of which is romantic interpersonal relationships. As patterns of interpersonal interaction evolve, various modern dating terms have emerged. One of the most frequently discussed is the situationship. This study was conducted to examine the influence of attachment orientation on relational uncertainty among individuals in emerging adulthood in Jakarta who are in a situationship. The study employed a quantitative method, with data analyzed using multiple linear regression. The instruments used were the Relational Uncertainty Scale (RUS) (Solomon & Brisini, 2017) to measure relational uncertainty and the Experiences in Close Relationships Scale Short-form (ECR-S) (Wei, et al., 2007) to measure attachment orientation. Samples were collected using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. This study involved 230 respondents who were emerging adults in Jakarta currently in situationship. The findings indicate that attachment avoidance was not found to have a significant effect on self-uncertainty or relationship uncertainty, but was found to have a significant negative effect on partner uncertainty. Meanwhile, attachment anxiety was not found to have a significant effect on self-uncertainty, but was found to have a significant positive effect on partner uncertainty and relationship uncertainty.
