Abstract

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh religiusitas terhadap prasangka masyarakat Jabodetabek terhadap konsep dan kelompok gender netral dengan menyertakan tingkat pendidikan sebagai variabel moderator. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 423 responden yang merupakan masyarakat Jabodetabek sebagai sampel penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi untuk mengetahui signifikan atau tidaknya religiusitas terhadap prasangka, tingkat pendidikan terhadap prasangka, serta uji analisis moderator Hayes, untuk signifikansi pengaruh tingkat pendidikan sebagai moderator. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa religiusitas memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prasangka dengan arah hubungan yang positif. Sedangkan, tingkat pendidikan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap prasangka secara parsial. Tingkat pendidikan juga tidak ditemukan signifikan berperan sebagai moderator dalam pengaruh religiusitas terhadap prasangka. Dengan demikian, pendidikan formal masih belum mampu menjadi faktor yang efektif dalam mempengaruhi maupun mengubah prasangka masyarakat Jabodetabek mengenai konsep dan kelompok gender netral ***** This study aims to examine the influence of religiosity on the prejudice of the people in Jabodetabek area toward the concept of gender neutrality, while also investigating the moderating role of education role. This research employed a quantitative approach involving 423 respondents from Jabodetabek area as the research sample. The data were analyzed using regression analysis to determine the significance of the influence of religiosity on people’s prejudice, the influence of education level on prejudice, as well as Hayes moderation analysis to determine the significance of education level as moderating variable. The findings of this research revealed that religiosity acts as a factoring factor which significantly influences the level of prejudice with a positive direction. Moreover, education level did not show a partial influence on prejudice. Education level was also not found to be significantly act as a moderating variable in the relationship between religiosity and prejudice. Therefore, this research concludes that formal education has not be yet shown to be an effective factor and platform in influencing or reducing the publik prejudice regarding the concept or groups of gender neutral.
