Abstract

Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) merupakan salah satu kebijakan pemerintah yang bertujuan untuk mendukung pemenuhan gizi peserta didik. Dalam pelaksanaannya, peserta didik sebagai penerima program memiliki pengalaman yang berbeda-beda sehingga dapat membentuk persepsi yang beragam terhadap pelaksanaan Program MBG. Persepsi tersebut dipengaruhi oleh karakteristik individu, karakteristik program sebagai objek yang diamati, serta kondisi lingkungan ketika program berlangsung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi peserta didik kelas XI terhadap pelaksanaan Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) di SMAN 11 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober 2025 sampai dengan Juni 2026. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 216 peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 11 Jakarta dengan sampel sebanyak 140 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik probability sampling melalui metode simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert tujuh tingkat yang disusun berdasarkan dimensi persepsi menurut Stephen P. Robbins, yaitu Perceiver, Target, dan Situation. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, mean item, analisis indeks persepsi, serta estimasi interval kepercayaan (confidence interval) dengan bantuan IBM SPSS Statistics dan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi peserta didik terhadap pelaksanaan Program Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) berada pada kategori cukup tinggi dengan nilai mean item sebesar 4,81 dan nilai indeks persepsi sebesar 63,50. Berdasarkan ketiga dimensi persepsi, dimensi Situation memperoleh nilai indeks tertinggi sebesar 65,17, diikuti oleh dimensi Perceiver sebesar 64,33 dan dimensi terendah diperoleh dimensi Target sebesar 60,67. Hasil estimasi interval kepercayaan 95% menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata persepsi peserta didik pada populasi berada pada rentang 4,62 hingga 5,00 dan seluruhnya berada dalam kategori cukup tinggi. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat aspek yang perlu disempurnakan, terutama berkaitan dengan kualitas makanan, variasi menu, serta kesesuaian menu dengan kebiasaan dan selera peserta didik yang masih menunjukkan penilaian beragam. Dalam perspektif sosiologi pendidikan, pelaksanaan Program MBG menjadi bagian dari pengalaman sosial peserta didik di lingkungan sekolah. Interaksi dengan teman sebaya, pembiasaan kegiatan makan bersama, dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pelaksanaan program menjadi bagian dari proses pembentukan persepsi terhadap Program MBG. ***** The Free Nutritious Meal Program (Program Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) is a government policy aimed at supporting students nutritional fulfillment. In its implementation, students as program recipients may have different experiences, which can shape various perceptions of the MBG Program. These perceptions are influenced by individual characteristics, the characteristics of the program as the observed object, and the environmental conditions in which the program takes place. This study aims to examine the perceptions of eleventh-grade students regarding the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) at SMAN 11 Jakarta. This study used a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. The research was conducted from October 2025 to June 2026. The population consisted of 216 eleventh-grade students at SMAN 11 Jakarta, with a sample of 140 respondents selected through probability sampling using the simple random sampling method. Data were collected using a seven-point Likert scale questionnaire developed based on Stephen P. Robbins perception dimensions, namely Perceiver, Target, and Situation. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, item mean analysis, perception index analysis, and confidence interval estimation with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics and Microsoft Excel. The results showed that students perceptions of the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) were categorized as moderately high, with an item mean score of 4.81 and a perception index score of 63.50. Based on the three perception dimensions, the Situation dimension obtained the highest perception index score of 65.17, followed by the Perceiver dimension with a score of 64.33, while the lowest score was found in the Target dimension with a score of 60.67. The 95% confidence interval estimation showed that the average perception of students in the population was estimated to range from 4.62 to 5.00, with the entire range remaining within the moderately high category. However, several aspects still require improvement, particularly regarding food quality, menu variety, and the suitability of menus with students eating habits and preferences, which showed varied assessments. From the perspective of sociology of education, the implementation of the MBG Program becomes part of students social experiences within the school environment. Interactions with peers, the habit of eating together, and students’ involvement in the program contribute to the process of forming their perceptions of the MBG Program.
