Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara regulasi emosi terhadap agresivitas berkendara pada siswa MAN 20 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik sampling non probability sampling berjenis purposive sampling. Penelitian ini melibatkan populasi siswa MAN 20 Jakarta berjumlah 115 orang sebagai sampel yang terdiri dari kelas 10, 11, dan 12. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Aggressive Driving Behavior Scale (ADBS) untuk mengukur perilaku berkendara, dan Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) untuk mengukur regulasi emosi. Analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah regresi berganda. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa regulasi emosi berpengaruh sebesar 1,8% terhadap agresivitas berkendara siswa MAN 20 Jakarta. Melalui penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa agresivitas berkendara dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain selain regulasi emosi yang tidak diteliti pada penelitian ini. ***** This study was conducted to determine the relationship between emotional regulation and aggressive driving among students at MAN 20 Jakarta. This study employed a quantitative method using a non-probability sampling technique, specifically purposive sampling. The study involved a population of 115 students from MAN 20 Jakarta as the sample, comprising students from grades 10, 11, and 12. The instruments used in this study were the Aggressive Driving Behavior Scale (ADBS) to measure driving behavior and the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) to measure emotion regulation. Multiple regression analysis was used in this study. The results indicate that emotion regulation accounts for 1.8% of the variance in the aggressive driving behavior of students at MAN 20 Jakarta. This study suggests that aggressive driving is influenced by factors other than emotion regulation that were not examined in this study.
