Abstract

Tingginya penggunaan media sosial dalam komunitas penggemar sepak bola tidak hanya membuka ruang interaksi antarsuporter, tetapi juga memunculkan cyber aggression. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh attachment style dan fanatisme terhadap cyber aggression pada penggemar Real Madrid dan Barcelona di Indonesia menggunakan metode kuantitatif asosiatif dengan analisis regresi linear berganda dan prosedur bootstrapping. Sebanyak 123 responden berusia 20 - 40 tahun dilibatkan sebagai partisipan dengan instrumen CATQ, ASQ, dan Football Supporter Fanaticism Scale. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa attachment style dan fanatisme secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap cyber aggression (R² = 0,657). Secara parsial, preoccupied attachment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap seluruh dimensi cyber aggression, fearful attachment berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap dimensi revenge dan reward, sedangkan secure attachment berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap dimensi reward. Dismissing attachment tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap dimensi manapun, dan fanatisme hanya berpengaruh negatif terhadap dimensi recreation. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa cyber aggression pada penggemar sepak bola di Indonesia lebih kuat dijelaskan oleh preoccupied attachment dibandingkan fanatisme. This study aimed to examine the influence of attachment style and fanaticism on cyber aggression among Real Madrid and Barcelona supporters in Indonesia using a quantitative associative approach with multiple linear regression and bootstrapping procedures. A total of 123 respondents aged 20 - 40 years participated, with data collected using the CATQ, ASQ, and Football Supporter Fanaticism Scale. Results showed that attachment style and fanaticism simultaneously had a significant effect on cyber aggression (R² = 0.657). Partially, preoccupied attachment positively and significantly influenced all four cyber aggression dimensions, fearful attachment positively and significantly influenced the revenge and reward dimensions, while secure attachment negatively and significantly influenced the reward dimension. Dismissing attachment showed no significant influence on any dimension, and fanaticism only negatively influenced the recreation dimension. These findings suggest that cyber aggression among football supporters in Indonesia is more strongly explained by preoccupied attachment than by fanaticism.
