Abstract

Dalam dunia otomotif, bengkel mobil memiliki peran penting untuk menjaga keamanan dan kenyamanan kendaraan dari proses perawatan hingga perbaikan kendaraan. Bengkel tersebut tentunya perlu memiliki aspek penyimpanan sparepart. Tempat penyimpanan nya biasa di kenal dengan gudang. Tata letak gudang adalah salah satu komponen yang dapat mempengaruhi efektifitas dan efesiensi gudang karena tujuan utamanya adalah untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi bengkel mobil Nano Auto Service saat ini adalah penempatan sparepart yang acak, sehingga lokasi penyimpanan setiap sparepart tidak tetap. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan proses pencarian barang membutuhkan waktu yang lebih lama, serta menghambat kelancaran proses pelayanan kepada pelanggan. Sebagai Upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini menerapkan metode dedicated storage. Dengan alasan karena metode ini memiliki sistem agar setiap jenis sparepart memiliki lokasi penyimpanan tetap dan spesifik. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan melalui tahapan penentuan ukuran slot, perhitungan Space Requirement, perhitungan Throughput, penentuan nilai Assignment (T/S), serta perhitungan jarak perpindahan menggunakan metode Rectilinear Distance. Berdasarkan hasil penerapan metode tersebut, diperoleh penurunan total jarak perpindahan material sebesar 849,3 feet atau setara dengan efisiensi sebesar 25,71% dibandingkan tata letak awal. Dimana total jarak perpindahan pada layout eksisting sebesar 3302,5 feet menjadi 2453,2 feet. Serta penggunaan Aplikasi Bengkel 2.0 turut mendukung kemudahan sistem administrasi penyimpanan. Hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh validator ahli manajemen bengkel dan praktisi bengkel memperoleh nilai kelayakan sebesar 86,67% sehingga Metode Dedicated storage sangat layak diterapkan untuk mengatasi penataan penyimpanan di ruang sparepart bengkel Mobil Nano Auto Service. ***** In the automotive industry, car repair workshops play an essential role in maintaining vehicle safety and reliability through maintenance and repair services. An important aspect of workshop operations is the storage of spare parts, which is typically managed in a warehouse. Warehouse layout is one of the key factors influencing warehouse effectiveness and efficiency, as its primary objective is to meet customer needs. The problem was faced by Nano Auto Service is the random placement of spare parts, resulting in positions randomly. This condition increases the time required to locate spare parts and hinders the efficiency of customer service. To address this issue, this study applies the Dedicated storage method. This method assigns a permanent and specific storage location to each type of spare part. The storage locations were determined through several stages, including slot size determination, Space Requirement calculation, Throughput analysis, Assignment value (T/S) calculation, and travel distance measurement using the Rectilinear Distance method. The results shows reduction in travel distance of 849.3 feet, representing a 25.71% improvement compared to the existing warehouse layout. The total travel distance was reduced from 3302.5 feet in the existing layout to 2453.2 feet after the implementation of the proposed layout. In addition, the implementation of the Aplikasi Bengkel 2.0 supports a more efficient warehouse administration and spare parts storage management system. The validation results, conducted by a workshop management expert and an automotive workshop practitioner, achieved a feasibility score of 86.67%. Therefore, the Dedicated storage method is considered highly feasible for improving the usage of the spare parts storage area at Nano Auto Service.
