Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil penilaian estetika penerapan desain hiasan menggunakan teknik sashiko dan boro pada busana kerja wanita berupa crop jaket dengan memanfaatkan kain sisa produksi butik Tieka Huza berdasarkan teori estetika A.A.M. Djelantik pada aspek wujud atau rupa, bobot atau isi, serta penampilan atau penyajian. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pemanfaatan kain sisa produksi yang belum optimal sehingga diperlukan inovasi desain hiasan yang mampu meningkatkan nilai estetika produk sekaligus mendukung konsep sustainable fashion. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian pre-experimental design, jenis one shot case study. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dengan menghitung persentase hasil penilaian panelis ahli. Penelitian ini menghasilkan lima produk busana kerja wanita berupa crop jaket yang dinilai oleh lima panelis ahli menggunakan instrumen angket campuran terbuka dan tertutup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan desain hiasan menggunakan teknik sashiko dan boro memperoleh nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 88,3% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Penerapan desain hiasan menggunakan teknik sashiko dan boro pada busana kerja wanita berupa crop jaket dapat dikatakan sangat baik berdasarkan teori estetika A.A.M. Djelantik. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu referensi dalam pengembangan desain hiasan pada busana kerja wanita melalui pemanfaatan kain sisa produksi untuk mendukung konsep sustainable fashion. ***** This study aimed to obtain the aesthetic assessment results of decorative embellishments using sashiko and boro techniques on women's workwear in the form of a crop jacket by utilizing fabric remnants from Tieka Huza Boutique, based on A.A.M. Djelantik's aesthetic theory covering the aspects of form, content, and presentation. The background of this study was the underutilization of fabric remnants, which encouraged the development of decorative innovations capable of enhancing the aesthetic value of fashion products while supporting the concept of sustainable fashion. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method using a pre-experimental design with a one-shot case study approach. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics by calculating the percentage of expert panelists' evaluation results. This study produced five women's workwear crop jacket designs, which were evaluated by five expert panelists using a mixed open-ended and closed-ended questionnaire. The results showed that the application of decorative embellishments using sashiko and boro techniques achieved an overall average score of 88.6%, categorized as Very Good. The application of decorative embellishments using sashiko and boro techniques on women's workwear in the form of a crop jacket was considered to have fulfilled the aesthetic criteria based on A.A.M. Djelantik's aesthetic theory. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for the development of decorative embellishments in women's workwear through the utilization of fabric remnants to support the implementation of sustainable fashion.
