Abstract
Integrasi teknologi digital ke dalam pembelajaran sains di sekolah dasar sangat penting untuk mendukung pembelajaran abad ke-21 dan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-book berbasis STEM berjudul “Ayo Mengenal Bumi Kita” bagi siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar serta mengevaluasi validitas dan kepraktisannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode “Research and Development” (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang mencakup tahapan Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara guru, kuesioner siswa, validasi ahli, dan uji coba produk. E-book yang dikembangkan dirancang menggunakan Canva dan diterbitkan sebagai e-book interaktif melalui platform Heyzine. Media ini mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip STEM dengan ilustrasi visual, video pembelajaran, kuis interaktif, dan aktivitas pemecahan masalah untuk mendorong pembelajaran yang bermakna. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa E-book tersebut memperoleh skor validitas keseluruhan sebesar 95,63%—dikategorikan sangat valid—berdasarkan penilaian dari ahli materi, media, dan bahasa. Uji kepraktisan juga memberikan hasil yang sangat positif, dengan skor rata-rata 92,77% dari evaluasi tahap perorangan, kelompok kecil, dan uji lapangan, yang menunjukkan bahwa e-book tersebut sangat praktis untuk digunakan di kelas. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa e-book berbasis STEM merupakan sumber belajar digital yang layak dan efektif untuk, memfasilitasi pemahaman konsep sains kebumian, serta mendukung penerapan pembelajaran sains yang inovatif di sekolah dasar. **** Integrating digital technology into science education in elementary schools is crucial for supporting 21st-century learning and enhancing students' understanding of abstract concepts. This study aimed to develop a STEM-based ebook titled "Ayo Mengenal Bumi Kita" (Let's Get to Know Our Earth) for fifthgrade elementary students and to establish its validity and practicality. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which encompasses the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data were collected through classroom observations, teacher interviews, student questionnaires, expert validation, and product trials. The ebook was created using Canva and published as an interactive e-book via the Heyzine platform. This medium integrates STEM principles with visual illustrations, instructional videos, interactive quizzes, and problem-solving activities to foster meaningful learning. Validation results indicated an overall validity score of 95.63%—categorized as highly valid—based on assessments by subject matter, media, and language experts. Practicality testing also yielded highly positive results, with an average score of 92.77% across individual, small-group, and field trial evaluations, demonstrating that the e-book is highly practical for classroom use. These findings indicate that the STEM-based e-book is a viable and effective digital learning resource for facilitating the understanding of Earth science concepts and supporting the implementation of innovative science education in elementary schools.
