Abstract
**********The growth of the fashion industry in Indonesia has resulted in an increase in textile waste, particularly patchwork and used denim pants that have not been optimally utilized. This study aims to assess the quality of upcycled denim mini skirts made from patchwork using fabric manipulation, and to determine product quality based on aspects of form, features, and style. The product was designed referring to the Indonesian Trend Forecasting 2026–2027 subtheme Renegade Rooted which emphasizes the concept of self-expression, do-it-yourself (DIY), and the use of recycled materials. This study used an experimental method with a Pre-Experimental One-Shot Case Study design. The research objects were five upcycled denim mini skirt products made using patchwork, layering, ruffle, pleats, and applique techniques. The product quality assessment was carried out by five expert panelists using a rating scale questionnaire instrument based on product quality indicators, namely form, features, and style. Data were obtained using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the quality of the upcycled denim mini skirt product obtained an overall score of very good. The features aspect received an excellent score, demonstrating that the application of fabric manipulation techniques can enhance the product's quality and character. Overall, the product was deemed to meet product quality standards and is suitable for development as an upcycled fashion product that supports the principles of sustainable and circular fashion.*
