Abstract

Perkembangan media pembelajaran digital mendorong penggunaan video tutorial untuk mendukung pembelajaran praktik tata rias. Namun, belum tersedia video tutorial yang secara khusus membahas teknik alis serat pada Tata Rias Pengantin Sunda Putri Modifikasi sehingga mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan memahami tahapan praktik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan video tutorial yang layak, praktis, dan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran pada Mata Kuliah Tata Rias Pengantin Indonesia Bagian Tengah. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D (define, design, develop, dan disseminate). Hasil validasi ahli materi meningkat dari 69,33% menjadi 89,33% dan ahli media dari 73,33% menjadi 85,33%, keduanya berkategori sangat layak. Uji kepraktisan memperoleh persentase 97,33% pada one to one dan 91,56% pada small group dengan kategori sangat praktis. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pre-test 57, post-test 88, dan N-Gain 0,76 (kategori tinggi). Dengan demikian, video tutorial yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif sebagai media pembelajaran. ***** DEVELOPMENT OF A TUTORIAL VIDEO FOR THE HAIR-STROKE EYEBROW TECHNIQUE IN MODIFIED SUNDANESE BRIDAL MAKEUP FOR THE CENTRAL INDONESIAN BRIDAL MAKEUP COURSE Syifa Ramadhania Putri Advisors : Dr. Jenny Sista Siregar, M.Hum, Dr. Dwi Atmanto, M.Si ABSTRACT The development of digital learning media has encouraged the use of tutorial videos to support practical learning in cosmetology. However, no tutorial video specifically discusses the hair-stroke eyebrow technique in Modified Sundanese Princess Bridal Makeup, causing students to experience difficulties in understanding the practical procedures. This study aimed to develop a tutorial video that is feasible, practical, and effective as a learning medium for the Central Indonesian Bridal Makeup course. The study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D model (define, design, develop, and disseminate). The material expert validation score improved from 69.33% to 89.33%, while the media expert validation score increased from 73.33% to 85.33%, both categorized as highly feasible. The practicality test obtained scores of 97.33% in the one-to-one evaluation and 91.56% in the small-group evaluation, both categorized as highly practical. The effectiveness test showed an average pre-test score of 57, a post-test score of 88, and an N-Gain score of 0.76, indicating a high category. Therefore, the developed tutorial video is considered highly feasible, practical, and effective as a learning medium.
