Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam penguatan etika digital citizenship, persepsi siswa terhadap strategi yang diterapkan guru, serta dampak strategi tersebut pada siswa kelas V SDN 07 Kenari Jakarta Pusat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru kelas V sebagai informan utama, serta siswa kelas V dan wakil kepala sekolah sebagai informan pendukung. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa guru menerapkan lima strategi dalam penguatan etika digital citizenship, yaitu keteladanan, pembiasaan, pemberian aturan, integrasi etika digital dalam pembelajaran, dan pengawasan dalam penggunaan teknologi digital. Siswa memberikan persepsi positif terhadap strategi yang diterapkan karena dinilai mudah dipahami, relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, serta membantu mereka untuk memahami pentingnya menggunakan teknologi secara tanggung jawab dan menyaring informasi secara kritis. Strategi tersebut juga memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembentukan perilaku digital siswa yang lebih beretika, bertanggung jawab, dan bijak dalam penggunaan teknologi. Dengan demikian, penguatan etika digital citizenship di sekolah dasar memerlukan peran aktif guru yang didukung oleh budaya sekolah agar mampu membentuk karakter warga digital yang baik. ***** This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in strengthening digital citizenship ethics, students’ perceptions of the strategies implemented by teachers, and the impact of these strategies on fifth-grade students at SDN Kenari 07, Central Jakarta. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive research design. The research participants consisted of the fifth-grade classroom teacher as the primary informant, while fifth-grade students and the vice principal served as supporting informants. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation and technique triangulation. The findings indicate that teachers implemented five strategies to strengthen digital citizenship ethics: role modeling, habituation, establishing rules, integrating digital ethics into classroom instruction, and supervising students' use of digital technology. Students expressed positive perceptions of these strategies, as they found them easy to understand, relevant to their daily lives, and helpful in recognizing the importance of using technology responsibly and evaluating information critically. These strategies also had a positive impact on fostering students’ digital behavior, making them more ethical, responsible, and wise in their use of technology. Therefore, strengthening digital citizenship ethics in elementary schools requires the active involvement of teachers, supported by a positive school culture, to cultivate responsible and ethical digital citizens.
