Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, membangun, dan menguji alat pengukur Indeks Massa Tubuh dan membaca nilai detak jantung pada tubuh manusia menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino Uno yang mampu mengukur tinggi badan, berat badan, membaca detak jantung, dan menghitung Indeks Massa Tubuh manusia secara otomatis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode rancang bangun dengan model pengembangan Research and Development (R&D) melalui pendekatan V-Model dengan tahapan penelitian yaitu tahap requirement analysis, tahap system design, tahap architectural design, tahap module design, tahap coding phase, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, dan acceptance testing. Sistem mengintegrasikan sensor VL53L0X untuk mengukur tinggi badan, sensor Load Cell untuk mengukur berat badan, sensor MAX30102 untuk mengukur detak jantung, dan LCD sebagai antarmuka tampilan data. Parameter tersebut diolah sehingga menghasilkan data Indeks Massa Tubuh dan kategori tubuh berdasarkan Indeks Massa Tubuh, serta kategori detak jantung berdasarkan nilai bpm. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem memiliki performa yang baik dengan rata-rata tingkat akurasi mencapai 98,16% dengan seluruh nilai rata-rata kesalahan (error) absolut berada di bawah ambang batas toleransi 10%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem alat pengukur Indeks Massa Tubuh dan kondisi detak jantung pada tubuh manusia menggunakan mikrokontroler Arduino berpotensi menjadi prototipe skrining sederhana berdasarkan hasil pengujian sederhana yang mampu memberikan informasi awal mengenai kondisi fisik pengguna secara otomatis dan mandiri, bukan alat diagnosis medis. ***** This research aims to design, build, and test a device for measuring human body mass index and heart rate category based on bpm using an Arduino Uno microcontroller that is capable of measuring and monitoring height, weight, heart rate, and human body mass index automatically and independently. The research method used is a design and construction method with a Research and Development (R&D) development model through a V-Model approach with research stages namely requirement analysis stage, system design stage, architectural design stage, module design stage, coding phase stage, unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing. The system integrates a VL53L0X sensor to measure height, a Load Cell sensor to measure weight, a MAX30102 sensor to measure heart rate, and an LCD as a data display interface. The physiological data is processed to produce body mass index data and body categories based on body mass index, as well as heart condition categories based on heart rate. The testing results show that the system has good performance with an average accuracy rate reaching 98.16%, with all average absolute error values being below the 10% tolerance threshold. Thus, Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the proposed body mass index and heart rate measurement system using an Arduino microcontroller has the potential to serve as an simple screening prototype by providing users with automatic and independent initial information regarding their physical condition.
