Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dukungan sosial dan self-efficacy terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penelitian korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 200 mahasiswa yang bekerja, yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) untuk mengukur Dukungan sosial, College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES) untuk mengukur academic self-efficacy dan Procrastination Assessment Scale for Students (PASS) untuk mengukur prokrastinasi akademik. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan dukungan sosial dan academic self-efficacy berpengaruh signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa yang bekerja nilai R sebesar 0,286 dan R Square sebesar 0,082 serta . Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial dan academic self-efficacy secara bersama-sama memberikan kontribusi sebesar 8,2% terhadap prokrastinasi akademik, sedangkan 91,8% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian. Secara parsial, academic self-efficacy berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Temuan dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa peningkatan academic self-efficacy berperan penting dalam menurunkan prokrastinasi akademik pada mahasiswa yang bekerja. ***** This study aims to determine the effect of social support and academic self-efficacy on academic procrastination in working students. This study uses a quantitative approach with correlational research. The sample in this study amounted to 200 working students, selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) to measure social support, the College Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (CASES) to measure academic self-efficacy and the Procrastination Assessment Scale for Students (PASS) to measure academic procrastination. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that simultaneously social support and academic self-efficacy had a significant effect on academic procrastination in working students with an R value of 0.286 and an R Square of 0.082 and . This indicates that social support and self-efficacy together contributed 8.2% to academic procrastination, while 91.8% was influenced by other factors outside the study. Partially, self-efficacy has a negative and significant effect on academic procrastination. The findings of this study indicate that increasing academic self-efficacy plays a significant role in reducing academic procrastination in working students.
