Abstract

ABSTRAK Keterampilan berbahasa merupakan fondasi utama pengembangan literasi dan kompetensi komunikasi yang esensial bagi calon guru sekolah dasar untuk mentransfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi siswa SD sehingga dibutuhkan bahan ajar yang sesuai untuk mendukungnya. Namun, hasil observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar Keterampilan Berbahasa Indonesia yang digunakan pada Program Studi PGSD masih bersifat konvensional, belum mengintegrasikan enam keterampilan berbahasa (menyimak, berbicara, membaca, menulis, memirsa, dan mempresentasikan), belum memanfaatkan teknologi digital secara optimal, serta belum mengintegrasikan proyek di dalam bahan ajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kondisi bahan ajar yang sedang digunakan, menganalisis kebutuhan, mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan, dan mengukur efektivitas Bahan Ajar Digital Keterampilan Berbahasa Indonesia Berbasis Proyek sebagai bahan ajar yang sesuai karakteristik mahasiswa PGSD sebagai Generasi Z. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) model Borg & Gall yang meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, validasi pakar, uji coba kelompok kecil, uji coba kelompok besar, serta uji efektivitas. Subjek penelitian melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa PGSD dari lima perguruan tinggi. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar memperoleh skor kelayakan sangat baik, yaitu 90% dari ahli materi, 95,8% dari ahli bahasa, dan 88,5% dari ahli media. Uji coba kelompok kecil dan besar menghasilkan rata-rata skor 85,8% dan 89,7% dengan kategori sangat baik, menandakan bahwa bahan ajar mudah digunakan, menarik, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan antara nilai pretes 61,23 dan postes 85,85. Dengan demikian, bahan ajar digital keterampilan berbahasa Indonesia berbasis proyek pada Prodi PGSD ini terbukti layak dan efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa, melatih kemampuan berkomunikasi dan berkolaborasi mahasiswa PGSD sebagai calon guru abad ke-21. ABSTRACT Language skills are the primary foundation for developing literacy and communication competencies that are essential for prospective elementary school teachers to effectively transfer knowledge and skills to elementary school students; therefore, appropriate teaching materials are needed to support them. However, the results of observations and interviews indicate that the Indonesian Language Skills teaching materials used in the Primary School Teacher Education (PGSD) program are still conventional in nature, have not yet integrated the six language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing, viewing, and presenting), have not optimally utilized digital technology, and have not integrated projects into the teaching materials. This study aims to describe the condition of the currently used teaching materials, analyze needs, develop, test feasibility, and measure the effectiveness of Project-Based Digital Indonesian Language Skills Teaching Materials as instructional resources that align with the characteristics of PGSD students as Generation Z learners. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the Borg & Gall model, which includes the stages of needs analysis, design, expert validation, small-group trials, large-group trials, and effectiveness testing. The research subjects involved lecturers and PGSD students from five universities. Validation results indicate that the teaching materials achieved very good feasibility scores, namely 90% from content experts, 95.8% from language experts, and 88.5% from media experts. Small-group and large-group trials produced average scores of 85.8% and 89.7%, respectively, both categorized as very good, indicating that the materials are easy to use, attractive, and aligned with user needs. Effectiveness testing showed a significant increase between the pretest score of 61.23 and the posttest score of 85.85 indicating that the teaching materials are effective in improving students’ language skills. Therefore, the project-based digital Indonesian language skills teaching materials for the PGSD program are proven to be feasible and effective for enhancing language skills as well as fostering communication and collaboration abilities of PGSD students as prospective 21st-century teachers.
