Abstract

Penggunaan alat penata rambut secara berlebihan dengan suhu tinggi serta proses kimia seperti pewarnaan dan pelurusan dapat merusak struktur rambut sehingga menjadi kering, rapuh, dan mudah patah, sementara kesadaran masyarakat mengenai pentingnya perawatan rambut untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut masih belum merata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan video tutorial perawatan rambut rusak menggunakan teknik Bond Building, mengetahui tingkat kelayakan produk berdasarkan validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, serta mengetahui tingkat kepraktisan produk berdasarkan uji coba pada pengguna. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas dua ahli materi, satu ahli media, serta masyarakat umum sebagai responden uji praktikalitas. Uji praktikalitas dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu One-to-one sebanyak 3 responden dan Small Group sebanyak 12 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pengembangan video tutorial telah dilaksanakan melalui empat tahapan model 4D, yaitu pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebarluasan. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase sebesar 85,3% dari akademisi dan 96,8% dari praktisi dengan kategori sangat layak, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 96,8% dengan kategori sangat layak. Hasil uji praktikalitas menunjukkan persentase sebesar 94,1% pada tahap One-to-one dan 92,6% pada tahap Small Group dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, video tutorial perawatan rambut rusak menggunakan teknik Bond Building dinyatakan sangat layak dan sangat praktis digunakan sebagai media informasi dan edukasi bagi masyarakat umum. Kata Kunci: Video Tutorial, Rambut Rusak, Teknik Bond Building. ***** Excessive use of high-temperature hair styling tools and chemical processes such as coloring and straightening can damage the hair structure, making it dry, brittle, and prone to breakage, while public awareness of the importance of proper hair care to address this issue remains uneven. This study aimed to determine the process of developing a tutorial video tutorial on damaged hair care using the Bond Building technique, to assess the feasibility of the product based on content and media expert validation, and to evaluate its practicality through user testing. This study employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the 4D development model, which consists of the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The research subjects consisted of two content experts, one media expert, and members of the general public who participated as respondents in the practicality testing. The practicality test was conducted in two stages, namely one-to- one evaluation involving three respondents and small-group evaluation involving twelve respondents. The findings revealed that the development process of the tutorial video tutorial was successfully carried out through the four stages of the 4D model. The results of content expert validation yielded scores of 85.3% from the academic expert and 96.8% from the practitioner expert, both categorized as very feasible. The media expert validation result reached 96.8%, which was also categorized as very feasible. The practicality test results showed percentages of 94.1% in the one-to-one evaluation and 92.6% in the small- group evaluation, both categorized as very practical. Based on these findings, the tutorial video tutorial on damaged hair care using the Bond Building technique was deemed highly feasible and highly practical as an informational and educational medium for the general public.
