Abstract
Penerangan Jalan Umum (PJU) merupakan salah satu fasilitas yang berperan penting dalam menunjang keselamatan, keamanan, dan kenyamanan pengguna jalan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menganalisis tingkat kuat pencahayaan PJU berdasarkan hasil pengukuran lapangan, (2) mengevaluasi kesesuaian sistem penerangan terhadap Pedoman Teknis Alat Penerangan Jalan KP DRJD Nomor 7198 Tahun 2023, dan (3) menyusun rekomendasi perbaikan sistem penerangan melalui simulasi menggunakan perangkat lunak DIALux Evo 14.0. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan survei. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, pengukuran iluminansi menggunakan lux meter pada empat segmen Jalan Daksinapati dengan metode grid berinterval 5 meter, dokumentasi kondisi eksisting, serta simulasi menggunakan DIALux Evo 14.0. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif menggunakan nilai rata-rata (mean), median, modus, iluminansi rata-rata (Eavg), iluminansi minimum (Emin), dan tingkat keseragaman pencahayaan (uniformity), kemudian dibandingkan dengan standar yang berlaku. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kuat pencahayaan aktual belum merata dan tidak memenuhi standar teknis, yang dibuktikan dengan nilai iluminansi rata-rata (Eavg), yang bervariasi (4,436 lux hingga 23,926 lux) serta nilai iluminansi minimum (Emin) yang sangat rendah. Selain itu, tingkat keseragaman (uniformity) yang mendekati nol disebabkan oleh hambatan vegetasi dan jarak antar tiang yang tidak seragam. Melalui simulasi, perancangan skenario perbaikan baik Skenario 1 (pemeliharaan operasional) maupun Skenario 2 (penataan ulang sistem) terbukti mampu memenuhi parameter KP DRJD No. 7198:2023. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar dilakukan penataan ulang sistem penerangan meliputi penyeragaman jarak antar tiang, penyesuaian tinggi tiang, penggunaan armatur LED yang seragam, serta penambahan titik lampu untuk meningkatkan kualitas pencahayaan di lingkungan kampus. ***** Public Street Lighting (PJU) is a facility that plays a crucial role in supporting the safety, security, and comfort of road users. This study aims to: (1) analyze PJU illuminance levels based on field measurements, (2) evaluate the lighting system's compliance with the Technical Guidelines for Road Lighting Equipment (KP DRJD Number 7198 of 2023), and (3) formulate recommendations for system improvements through simulations using DIALux Evo 14.0 software. The study employs a descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach. Data were obtained through field observations, illuminance measurements using a lux meter across four segments of Jalan Daksinapati (utilizing a grid method with 5-meter intervals), documentation of existing conditions, and simulations using DIALux Evo 14.0. The data were analyzed descriptively using mean, median, mode, average illuminance (Eavg), minimum illuminance (Emin), and uniformity levels, and subsequently compared against applicable standards. The results indicate that actual illuminance levels are uneven and fail to meet technical standards; this is evidenced by varying average illuminance values (ranging from 4.436 lux to 23.926 lux) and very low minimum illuminance (Emin) values. Furthermore, uniformity levels approaching zero were caused by obstructions from vegetation and inconsistent pole spacing. Simulation results demonstrated that proposed improvement scenarios—both Scenario 1 (operational maintenance) and Scenario 2 (system reconfiguration)—could meet the parameters set by KP DRJD No. 7198:2023. Therefore, it is recommended to reconfigure the lighting system by standardizing pole spacing, adjusting pole heights, using uniform LED luminaires, and adding lighting points to enhance lighting quality within the campus environment.
