Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kontak antarkelompok terhadap prasangka pada kelompok gender netral (non-binary) dalam masyarakat dengan latar belakang agama yang beragam wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 229 responden yang berdomisili di Jabodetabek sebagai sampel penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear hierarki untuk mengetahui pengaruh kontak antarkelompok terhadap prasangka pada kelompok gender netral (non-binary). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kontak antarkelompok memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap prasangka pada kelompok gender netral (non-binary). Arah hubungan yang ditemukan adalah negatif, yang berarti semakin tinggi tingkat kontak antarkelompok yang dimiliki individu, maka semakin rendah tingkat prasangka terhadap kelompok gender netral (non-binary). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kontak antarkelompok berperan dalam menurunkan prasangka terhadap individu gender netral (non-binary) di Masyarakat Jabodetabek, bahkan setelah mempertimbangkan pengaruh jenis kelamin dan agama sebagai variabel kontrol. ***** This study aims to examine the effect of intergroup contact on prejudice toward gender-neutral (non-binary) individuals among people with diverse religious backgrounds in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek) This study employs a quantitative approach involving 229 residing in Jabodetabek as the research sample. The data were analyzed using hierarchical regression analysis to determine the effect of intergroup contact had a significant for a gender and religion. The results of this study indicate that intergroup contact has a significant effect on prejudice toward gender-neutral (non-binary) individuals. The direction of the relationship is negative, meaning that the higher the level of intergroup contact an individual has, the lower their level of prejudice toward gender-neutral (non-binary) individuals. These findings suggest that intergroup contavt plays an important role in reducing prejudice toward gender-neutral individuals in the Jabodetabek community, even after accounting for the effects of gender and religion as control variables
