Abstract

Pemanfaatan kain Pakan sebagai bahan dalam pembuatan produk wearable masih memiliki keterbatasan, produk yang dihasilkan berupa cover alas kaki sandal dan outer kardigan. Karakteristik bahan kain Pakan memiliki peluang untuk dikembangkan menjadi produk milineris topi, dikarenakan produk topi membutuhkan bahan dengan gramasi tinggi untuk memberi ketahanan pemakaian topinya, sifat kain Pakan masuk ke dalam kriteria ini sehingga peneliti menetapkan beberapa jenis produk topi kasual dalam penelitian berupa jenis Cloche, Bucket hat, Baseball cap, dan Docker. Penelitian produk milineris topi dengan kain pakan bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan kesesuaian bahan sebagai penunjang topi kasual dan mendapatkan penilaian berdasarkan indikator dimensi diferensiasi produk pada aspek wujud (form), fitur (feature), kualitas kesesuaian (conformance quality), gaya (style), dan desain (design). Bersama indikator dimensi desain produk pada aspek bahan (material), warna (color), tekstur (texture), dan proporsi (proportion). Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif, pre-experimental design, jenis one shot case study. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket campuran yang diukur menggunakan rating scale dan analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Secara keseluruhan produk topi dengan kain Pakan dinilai sangat baik dan memiliki kualitas yang memadai, produk topi juga memberikan manfaat fungsional dan estetika. Bahan kain Pakan dilihat cukup layak untuk dijadikan produk topi, bahan kain ini memiliki peluang untuk dilakukan pengembangan produk wearable lainnya. ***** The use of Pakan fabric as a material in making wearable products still has limitations, the resulting products are in the form of sandal footwear covers and outer cardigans. The characteristics of the Pakan fabric material have the opportunity to be developed into milliner hat products, because hat products require materials with high grammaticality to provide resistance to wearing the hat. The properties of the Pakan fabric fall into these criteria so that researchers have determined several types of casual hat products in the research in the form of Cloche, Bucket hat, Baseball cap and Docker types. Research on millineris hat products with Pakan fabric aims to determine the suitability of the material as a support for casual hats and obtain an assessment based on indicators of product differentiation dimensions in the aspects of form, features, conformance quality, style and design. Together with indicators of product design dimensions in the aspects of material, color, texture and proportion. The research method uses quantitative methods, pre-experimental design, one shot case study type. The data collection technique uses a mixed questionnaire which is measured using a rating scale and data analysis in this research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. Overall, hat products made from Pakan fabric are considered very good and have adequate quality, hat products also provide functional and aesthetic benefits. The Pakan fabric material is seen as quite suitable for making hat products, this fabric material has the opportunity to develop other wearable products.
