Abstract

***** Field Work Practice (PKL) is an essential component of the vocational high school curriculum designed to bridge theoretical learning and industry requirements. However, initial survey data revealed that 58.3% of students lacked full understanding of PKL objectives and 75% struggled to align school concepts with practical execution. This study aimed to evaluate the achievement of PKL program objectives at the Educational Training and Development Center of North Jakarta and Thousand Islands (P4 JUKS). The research employed a descriptive evaluative approach using Ralph W. Tyler's Goal-Oriented Evaluation Model. Data were gathered through questionnaires distributed to 20 PKL participants from SMK Muara Indonesia, alongside in-depth interviews with school administrators and workplace supervisors. Findings indicated that the achievement of PKL objectives was categorized as "Highly Achieved" across all evaluated dimensions: soft skills internalization (95%), hard skills enhancement (88.67%), hard skills application (88%), and entrepreneurial readiness (86.33%). High achievement was supported by structured school preparation and rigorous workplace supervision. Key challenges included minor assignment mismatches regarding specific student majors and limited exposure to commercial business activities within a public institution context. It is concluded that the PKL program at P4 JUKS is highly effective in fulfilling statutory objectives. Technical assignment refinements and partner institution diversification are recommended to further optimize student competencies.
