Abstract
Kata Kunci: Income Expectation, Entrepreneurial Knowledge, Digital Competencies, Entrepreneurial Intention, Generasi Z. ******* This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of Income Expectations, Entrepreneurial Knowledge, and Digital Competencies on Entrepreneurial Intentions among Generation Z in DKI Jakarta. This research is prompted by the low national entrepreneurship ratio in Indonesia and the limited participation of Generation Z in entrepreneurial activities despite their high intention to start a business. This phenomenon occurs amid labor market challenges, financial expectations, limitations in technical business understanding, and gaps in productively utilizing digital competencies. Employing a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional survey design, this study targets an unknown population of Generation Z aged 17–29 in DKI Jakarta. Using a non-probability purposive sampling technique, 170 eligible respondents were acquired. Data were gathered through an online questionnaire using a six-point Likert scale distributed via Google Forms. Data analysis was conducted using IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests), simple linear regression analysis, partial tests (t-tests), and the coefficient of determination (R2). The statistical results reveal that Income Expectations, Entrepreneurial Knowledge, and Digital Competencies each have a positive and statistically significant partial effect on Entrepreneurial Intentions. Simultaneously, these three independent variables account for 37.7% of the variation in entrepreneurial intentions. These findings emphasize that expectations of obtaining a higher, decent income serve as the primary driver for Generation Z's entrepreneurial intention, while entrepreneurial knowledge and digital competencies function as cognitive and technical supporting foundations in capitalizing on business opportunities in the digital era. Keywords: Income Expectation, Entrepreneurial Knowledge, Digital Competencies, Entrepreneurial Intention, Generation Z.
