Abstract

Peneltian ini memiliki tujuan mengetahui pengaruh antara persepsi pola asuh authoritative ayah dengan positive relationships pada emerging adulthood. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan sampel individu emerging adulthood berusia 18-25 tahun yang memberikan penilaian mengenai pola asuh authoritative ayah berdasarkan persepsi mereka. Data yang diperoleh sebanyak 754 dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur positive relationships adalah PRIM+19 dan persepsi pola asuh ayah diukur menggunakan Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ). Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linear sederhana, ditemukan bahwa persepsi pola asuh authoritative ayah secara positif memiliki pengaruh sebesar 21,8% terhadap positive relationships pada emerging adulthood. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin positif persepsi individu terhadap pola asuh authoritative ayah, semakin tinggi positive relationships yang dimiliki pada masa emerging adulthood. (*****) This study aimed to examine the effect of perceived authoritative fathering on positive relationships among emerging adults. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving a sample of 754 emerging adults aged 18–25 years who evaluated their fathers' authoritative parenting based on their own perceptions. The participants were recruited using a convenience sampling technique. Positive relationships were measured using the PRIM+19, while perceived authoritative fathering was assessed using the Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ). The results of a simple linear regression analysis revealed that perceived authoritative fathering had a significant positive effect on positive relationships, accounting for 21.8% of the variance in positive relationships among emerging adults. These findings indicate that the more positively individuals perceive their fathers' authoritative parenting, the higher their level of positive relationships during emerging adulthood.
