Abstract

Kinerja guru memberikan peran penting dalam pendidikan dan karakter siswa yang baik. Kinerja guru yang rendah akan menurunkan kualitas pencapaian itu sendiri. Berdasarkan data di Jakarta Utara, kinerja guru merupakan program prioritas pemerintah, dan masih perlu ditingkatkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji apakah ada pengaruh positif langsung dari kepemimpinan transformasional dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri di Jakarta Utara. Sebanyak 81 dari 430 guru sampel untuk mengumpulkan data yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis jalur kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung positif (1) kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja guru, (2) motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru, dan (3) kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap motivasi kerja. Teacher performance provides an important role in the education and character of good students. Poor teacher performance will reduce the quality of achievement itself. Based on data in North Jakarta, teacher performance is a priority program of the government, and still needs to be improved. The purpose of this study is to examine whether there is a direct positive effect of transformational leadership and work motivation on teacher performance at the State Vocational High School in North Jakarta. A total of 81 out of 430 sample teachers collected data which were then analyzed using quantitative path analysis methods. The results showed that there was a positive direct effect (1) transformational leadership on teacher performance, (2) work motivation on teacher performance, and (3) transformational leadership on work motivation.
