Abstract
Kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif merupakan kompetensi penting yang harus dimiliki siswa pada abad ke-21. Namun, berdasarkan hasil observasi dan beberapa penelitian sebelumnya, kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa masih tergolong rendah karena proses pembelajaran cenderung berpusat pada guru sehingga siswa kurang diberi kesempatan untuk mengeksplorasi ide dan memecahkan masalah secara mandiri. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan berpusat pada siswa. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan adalah kombinasi model Learning Cycle 7E dan Creative Problem Solving. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kombinasi model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dan Creative Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu SMA Jakarta pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experiment dengan desain Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 64 siswa kelas X. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Posttest berbentuk soal uraian. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis independent sample t-test dengan bantuan IBM SPSS versi 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 85,41 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 71,78. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikansi p < 0,05 sehingga H₀ ditolak dan H₁ diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kombinasi model pembelajaran Learning Cycle 7E dan Creative Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMA pada materi perubahan lingkungan. Penerapan kombinasi model tersebut terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, sehingga dapat menjadi alternatif pembelajaran inovatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi perubahan lingkungan. ***** Critical and creative thinking skills are essential competencies for 21st-century students. However, observations and previous studies indicate that students' critical and creative thinking skills remain low, largely because instruction tends to be teacher-centered, limiting opportunities for students to explore ideas and solve problems independently. Therefore, efforts are needed to enhance these skills through the implementation of innovative, student-centered learning models. One such approach involves combining the 7E Learning Cycle and Creative Problem Solving models. This study aims to determine the impact of combining the 7E Learning Cycle and Creative Problem Solving models on the creative thinking skills of high school students regarding the topic of environmental change. The study was conducted at a high school in Jakarta during the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. A quasi-experimental method utilizing a Post-Test Only Control Group Design was employed. The sample consisted of 64 Grade X students. Data were collected via a post-test comprising essay questions and analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests, and an independent sample t-test (hypothesis testing) with IBM SPSS version 29. The results revealed that the mean post-test score for creative thinking skills in the experimental class (85.41) was higher than that of the control class (71.78). Hypothesis testing yielded a significance value of p < 0.05, leading to the rejection of H₀ and the acceptance of H₁. Thus, it is concluded that the combination of the 7E Learning Cycle and Creative Problem Solving models significantly influences the creative thinking skills of high school students regarding environmental change. The application of this combined model proved effective in enhancing students' creative thinking skills, offering a viable alternative for innovative instruction in this subject area.
