Abstract

***** This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous effects of psychological capital and entrepreneurial competencies on the self perceived employability of final year students. Psychological capital was measured using the Psychological Capital Questionnaire (PCQ 24) developed by Luthans, Youssef, and Avolio (2007), with an Indonesian adapted version validated by Setyandari et al. (2020). Entrepreneurial competencies were assessed using the Entrepreneurial Competencies Questionnaire (ECQ) by Kyndt and Baert (2015), while self perceived employability used the Self Perceived Employability Scale (SPES) by Rothwell et al. (2008). A quantitative approach involved 408 respondents, and data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that partially, psychological capital has a positive and significant effect of 12.61%, whereas entrepreneurial competencies contribute 28.08%. Together, both variables explain 40.7% of the variance, with the remaining portion influenced by other factors outside this study. This implies that integrated development of both aspects can improve students’ readiness and employability for entering the workforce.
