Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas gaya kepemimpinan perempuan dalam pemberdayaan komunitas perkotaan di Bank Sampah Bumi Lestari, Kelurahan Srengseng, Kecamatan Kembangan, Jakarta Barat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya kepemimpinan perempuan yang diterapkan oleh ketua bank sampah serta mendeskripsikan proses pemberdayaan komunitas yang berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana, serta didukung oleh perangkat lunak Nvivo 12. Informan dipilih secara purposive yang terdiri atas ketua bank sampah, pengurus, nasabah, dan pemangku kepentingan. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data diperkuat melalui triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Kepemimpinan yang dilakukan ketua Bank Sampah Bumi Lestari tercermin melalui empat indikator utama, yaitu komunikasi, motivasi, pengambilan keputusan, dan loyalitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan perempuan yang diterapkan oleh ketua Bank Sampah Bumi Lestari cenderung menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis. Temuan penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan yang dilakukan ketua Bank Sampah Bumi Lestari memiliki peran yang strategis dalam menunjang keberhasilan proses pemberdayaan komunitas. Keberhasilan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai indikator kepemimpinan yang diyakini mampu menciptakan dan mendorong masyarakat untuk terlibat aktif dalam setiap proses pemberdayaan yang dilakukan.***** This study examines women’s leadership styles in the empowerment of urban communities at the Bumi Lestari Waste Bank in Srengseng Village, Kembangan Subdistrict, West Jakarta. The study aims to analyze the women’s leadership styles employed by the waste bank chairperson and to describe the community empowerment process taking place. This study employs a qualitative approach using the case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, supported by NVivo 12 software. Informants were selected through purposive sampling and included the head of the waste bank, board members, clients, and stakeholders. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Data validity was strengthened through source triangulation and methodological triangulation. The leadership of the chairperson of the Bumi Lestari Waste Bank is reflected through four key indicators communication, motivation, decision-making, and loyalty. The research findings indicate that the female chairperson of the Bumi Lestari Waste Bank tends to adopt a democratic leadership style. The research findings also indicate that the leadership exercised by the chairperson of Bank Sampah Bumi Lestari plays a strategic role in supporting the success of the community empowerment process. This success is influenced by various leadership indicators believed to be capable of creating and encouraging the community to actively participate in every empowerment process undertaken.
