Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tanda non verbal yang digunakan sesuai dengan teks, jenis lanskap, variasi bahasa, dan juga fungsi lanskap linguistik. Masalah penelitian ini adalah lanskap yang berada di rumah sakit harus memuat informasi yang jelas dengan bahasa yang mudah dipahami tanpa bertele-tele dan memuat banyak interpretasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tanda non verbal yakni ilustrasi di lanskap sebagai petunjuk pendukung di lanskap dan didukung oleh tanda, tanda top down, yaitu tanda yang berasal dari pemerintah cukup dominan dan didukung oleh tanda verbal yang menyertainya. Variasi monolingual yang terdapat pada lanskap RSUP Persahabatan adalah monolingualisme Bahasa Indonesia dan monolingualisme Bahasa Inggris, sedangkan variasi bilingual yang terdapat pada lanskap RSUP Persahabatan adalah bilingual bahasa Indonesia-Inggris. Fungsi Informatif pada lanskap dapat dilihat secara jelas mengenai informasi yang berada pada papan, sedangkan fungsi simbolis pada papan adalah makna dari warna yang menjadi wawasan bersama dalam masyarakat. Lanskap pada rumah sakit hanya terdapat dua hal, yakni verba tindakan dan juga norma lokatif. RSUP Persahabatan menunjukkan tanda sebagai area publik di bawah Kementerian Kesehatan dengan banyaknya logo Kementerian Kesehatan, namun tetap mempunyai hak otonom. Kata kunci: lanskap linguistik, ruang publik, rumah sakit, linguistik, kesehatan. ***** This study aims to analyze the non-verbal signs used according to the text, types of landscapes, language variations, and also the functions of the linguistic landscape. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods. The research problem is that hospital landscapes must present clear information in easily understandable language without being verbose or open to multiple interpretations. The research results show that non-verbal signs, namely illustrations in the landscape, serve as supporting cues in the landscape and are reinforced by top-down signs, which are signs issued by the government, and are quite dominant, supported by accompanying verbal signs. The monolingual variations in the Persahabatan Hospital are Indonesian monolingualism and English monolingualism,, while the bilingual is Indonesian-English bilingualism. The informative function in the landscape can be clearly seen in the information presented on the landscape, while the symbolic function on the boards lies in the meaning of the colors, which becomes shared knowledge within the community. In the hospital landscape, there are only two aspects, namely verbal actions and locative norms. RSUP Persahabatan displays signs indicating a public area under the Ministry of Health with numerous Ministry of Health logos, yet it still retains autonomous rights.
