Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum tersedianya media pembelajaran digital yang secara khusus menyajikan instruksi kerja pengoperasian mesin CNC PU–VMC 500 secara sistematis, visual, mudah diakses, dan dapat digunakan untuk belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan e-book berbasis Web Book Creator serta mengetahui tingkat kelayakannya sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran pengoperasian mesin CNC PU–VMC 500 di Rumpun Mesin, Fakultas Teknik, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang meliputi tahap Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate. Tahap define dilakukan melalui triangulasi data menggunakan kuesioner calon pengguna, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Tahap design mencakup penyusunan garis besar isi media, struktur materi, tampilan, dan komponen multimedia. Tahap develop meliputi pembuatan produk, validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, revisi, serta uji kelayakan pengguna. Tahap disseminate dilakukan melalui penyebaran tautan dan kode QR kepada laboran dan kepala laboratorium. Hasil analisis kebutuhan memperoleh persentase 93% dengan kategori sangat setuju. Validasi ahli materi memperoleh 97,33% dengan kategori sangat layak, validasi ahli media memperoleh 80% dengan kategori layak, dan uji kelayakan terhadap 27 mahasiswa memperoleh 88,5% dengan kategori sangat layak. Produk memuat materi keselamatan kerja, pengenalan dan bagian utama mesin, persiapan pengoperasian, pengaturan alat potong, pemasangan benda kerja, pelaksanaan program, serta prosedur mematikan mesin yang disajikan melalui teks, gambar, dan video. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, e-book berbasis Web Book Creator dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pendukung dan sumber belajar tambahan bagi mahasiswa. Kata kunci: CNC PU–VMC 500; media pembelajaran; pengembangan; Web Book Creator. ***** This study was motivated by the absence of digital learning media specifically designed to present operating instructions for the CNC PU–VMC 500 machine in a systematic, visual, accessible, and self-directed format. The study aimed to produce a Web Book Creator-based e-book and determine its feasibility as supporting learning media for CNC PU–VMC 500 operation in the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The Research and Development (R&D) method was employed using the 4D model, consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The define stage involved data triangulation through prospective-user questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. The design stage included preparing the media content outline, material structure, visual layout, and multimedia components. The develop stage comprised product creation, material expert validation, media expert validation, revision, and user feasibility testing. The disseminate stage was conducted by distributing the e-book link and QR code to laboratory staff and the head of the laboratory. The needs analysis obtained a score of 93%, categorized as strongly agreed. Material expert validation reached 97.33%, categorized as highly feasible; media expert validation reached 80%, categorized as feasible; and the feasibility test involving 27 students reached 88.5%, categorized as highly feasible. The product contains occupational safety, machine introduction and main components, operating preparation, cutting-tool setting, workpiece installation, program execution, and machine shutdown procedures presented through text, images, and videos. Based on these results, the Web Book Creator-based e-book was declared feasible as supporting learning media and an additional learning resource for students.
